This is not good! It’s putting too much pressure on us old guys to stay alive to see the next great run of UConn dominating women’s college basketball. Now where did I put the Metamucil?
Only heard that there are/were 30 schools interested.Anyone know what schools she was considering?
This is perfect. We have Fire coming in 2020:
Now we add Ice in 2022.
When you think about it, why wouldn't they? They can always decommit if they have a change of heart. Why does some elite player want to verbally commit so early?
As long as UConn gets Betts as well you can have any other big remaining. Just one though. I'll even throw in a Londynn Jones as a perk. Not Rice though. Don't be greedy.
The rich keep getting richer! Great catch! Geno will now have to coach until at least 2026 to see her graduate. UConn is getting bad again for women’s college basketball. So Ice’s commitment begs the question, Did any of our recruiting super sleuths have this young lady on their radar?
If you’re as old or older than I, we have more to be thinking about than the height of players in 22-23. I’m hoping to make it to the end of this season. Last night’s 2nd half didn’t help.
Looks like a great recruit. Stanford, ND and Baylor. need to think about dropping down a division.
Wait too long and oops no seats available. Why does some elite player want to verbally commit so early?

Nah, Londynn can come with her AAU teammate Isuneh...
PV-The really talented players are being recruited by the 7th grade, and pretty heavily. While I agree that it is ridiculous and would love to to see it end I believe it will only get worse and when you are a teenager you don't want to and should not have to, deal with the amount of time and aggravation involved. One way to cut down on this is to commit early. Of course if you are the school chosen you are overjoyed and if you are one of the schools rejected you believe it should be illegal. Why does some elite player want to verbally commit so early?
As SVC says above once you have positions filled you move on to other needs. It's not like she committed to West Over Shoe State. She wanted to go to a school where she will be pushed. She picked the right one.Why does some elite player want to verbally commit so early?

That would be prior to her 8th grade basketball season.....![]()
5 things I LOVED about her... AND she's ONLY in 8th grade in that video...Here's a video of Ice. #25 in Blue and White. She looks pretty good.
Note: She's in MIDDLE SCHOOL!!
Kind of like Bueckers, she and her family may actually know what they're looking for.Why does some elite player want to verbally commit so early?
I agree. However, I think Auriemma will keep ONO.5 things I LOVED about her... AND she's ONLY in 8th grade in that video...
Clearly she has some work to do, but good grief. She's the whole package. I can see why she's rated #3 in the class. LOVE this kid already.
- She moves and runs the floor very well, especially for a kid her size.
- She can do up with either hand to make a layup, even tho she's a lefty.
- When she makes moves towards the basket, it's precise, strong, and with purpose. AND no fading away like sophomore ONO often does. She goes TO the basket.
- When she blocks a shot, it's with her arms mostly straight up. No tomahawk chop.
- She seems to have good instincts. Keeping arms up, good positioning, nose for the ball, and decent to good BBQ.

I'm a Rice man all the way.
Geno learning his lessons & is recruiting size. Size wins titles in today's WCBB.
Its good to have another Brady playing in New England!
