I agree. If UConn wins the BET, I think they have a better resume than Stanford, Utah, LSU, and whoever doesn't win the B1G tourney. I could see South Carolina, Indiana, UConn and B1G winner being the 1 seeds, with the B1G being in the bracket facing South Carolina.Instead of talking about who lost it would be faster to talk about who won. I don't see how UCONN isn't a 1 seed if they win the Big East and have a couple more somewhat impressive wins.
Don't the people who vote and select normally ignore what happens in Conference Tournaments (especially when it comes to teams that lose)?Wow, Indiana, Stanford, and Utah go down. The seeding will be interesting after this weekend.
I'm surprised because Stanford has been the "class" of the Pac-12 for years. They ALWAYS field one of the best teams in the conference. They are very hard to beat at home. The Pac-12 Women's Conference Basketball Tournament is being played at the Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Home of the Las Vegas Aces. The Pac-12 along with 3-4 other conferences play their post-season tournaments in Las Vegas every year...including the Mountain West Conference, home of the UNLV Runnin' Rebels.they are struggling like we do

No!! It's March. Strange things happen this time of year. Like Notre Dame and Duke scoring less than 40 points, and unranked Tennessee knocking off # 4 ranked LSU.Notre Dame and Duke fell with less than 40, is this High School Basketball ???
The NCAAT is going to be crazy (and fun to watch) this year. I can see an unranked (at large) team or two playing way over their head, and sending a much higher-seeded team home early. I'm calling it now!!! There WILL BE some mild upsets and some shocking upsets in this tournament. Watch out for that Darkhorse. Just because you're a 1 seed does not mean you can't be sent home early.
Look at what happened to the projected #1 seeds today. It's worse when you lose and none of your players are hurt.

Nobody wants to be in South Carolina's bracket. Teams have a 75% chance of NOT being in their bracket. Woe to those that are.You just have to avoid being in South Carolina plan, then being a Final Four bond is able

Our EXTRA gear is named Azzi Fudd.Instead of talking about who lost it would be faster to talk about who won. I don't see how UCONN isn't a 1 seed if they win the Big East and have a couple more somewhat impressive wins. I am glad Villanova pulled out their game so the final will be a couple top teams. So many teams can't find the extra gear in the tournament and that is one strength for UCONN.

At least Kim didn't go out on the court like she did in last year's Tournament walking out half way to yell at the ref. She should have been T'd up on it.A clear offensive foul, particularly since it was right in front of the official. That call needs to be made much more frequently.
Another opinion-Creme just posted and then deleted a tweet saying:
'Well really, we had TN properly ranked back in the preseason, so a #4 v #5 match up can really go either way and LSU should not be penalized for being on the losing end. I said all along that TN should be a top 10 team and at worst a 4 seed.'

LSU isn’t the team that they’ve tried convincing us that they are. Losing to Tennessee comes as surprise to no one, really.Creme just posted and then deleted a tweet saying:

Angel was ok until she extended her arm
Duke’s high in their last three games is 41! Something seriously wrong with their offense!Notre Dame and Duke fell with less than 40, is this High School Basketball ???
It is trying to keep conference teams from meeting prior to a regional final. And in terms of top 8 (and top 16) separating them so they would only meet in the FF.What’s the rule regarding seeding and not placing teams from the same conference? Is it the regional?
Then why even have them? And why put winners automatically into the NCAA tournament? Here's my hot take: WAY too much importance is placed on a few days at the beginning of March. Why does one game take more precedence than a 16-20 game conference schedule? I've never liked how worked up everybody gets over conference tourneys. It's been proven that there is little correlation between how teams do in conference tourneys and how they do in the NCAA Tourney, so there is absolutely no reason why it should be treated as some kind of litmus test.
Good question. I know there have been coaches in both mens and womens hoops who don't like conference tourneys and would rather do away with them. Then why even have them? And why put winners automatically into the NCAA tournament?
Big 10 is a tough conference. You can make an argument that Big 10 was the best Women's Conference this year. An argument could be made for the PAC 12 as well. Big 10 and PAC 12 were the best Women's Conferences this year.Indiana played a weak schedule.. they're like the LSU of the north central
