I agree with this 100%. They haven't all worked, but I love the idea. This is also the reason I never thought Butler's perceived (by some posters) slowness in running the floor would hinder our transition game. Sometimes a transition game's best friend is a defensive rebound followed by a strong outlet pass.Butler's got a predilection for long, aggressive outlet passes that many UConn players on this roster don't have. They haven't all been effective or safe, but it's something I don't mind seeing attempted, regardless.
Best chance against UConn: slow the game to a crawl limiting possessions, play zone defense, and trap Stewart when she gets the ball near the lane.
I guess those 3's are good shots now that they went in.
And-- Stewie deserved to be pulled. Why? Good job Butler -- and Gabby.
And Gabby is on the court.All that goes away if Tuck is on the court and KSL sticks her 3's.
