No question This three year stretch under Diaco 11-24 has been extremely hard to stomach and you have every right to be disappointed in him and the atrocious record. After going to a bowl last year and with an experienced, in shape team everyone expected more, a lot more.
I along with many, seriously question a number of things such as O-line, play calling, pass rush, pass defense, punt returns and blocks, clock management and selection of certain position coaches. By his own admission in the past, he has called himself a micro manager. His odd ball comments such as fish cake, Fettucine Alfredo and Batman, although amusing and go over well on the Jim Rome show, wear thin with an angry disinchanted fan base.
As fans, we had our hearts broken so many times in the past three years. Who could ever forget the heart breaking 22-17 loss to Army at Yankee stadium where we came back only to see Chandler Whitmer through the game ending interception last year. Then of course the clock F---up at Navy. Then there was the frustrated 9-6 loss at Missouri and again questionable play calling. I also get sick about Cuse this year and much more.
Finally, I do get tired of the pretty boy image, the perfect hair, not wearing a hat even in the rain yet wears that safari hat during practice. Then there are the red pants, the huge super man Husky logo and the matching belt buckle.
There, I have given my general list of frustration and reasons to ride Diaco's Ars out on a rail BUT, having said all this, I believe he is crazy enough to turn this crap show around.
I remember when Coach Cap and others talked about his inexperience as a head coach and the learning process. I believe he has learned a tremendous amount (at our expense) but I have a feeling that it will pay off next year. Unlike what Whaler said about lousy personnel next year, I actually think it will be improved with the biggest losses being Obi and Noel. However, overall, I think our D backfield and recieving corps will be more experienced and deeper.

WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT BOB DIACO
You have every right after what has transpired to spike the ball and say I told you so right now, if the game was over. Now, I don't know if Benedict is going to fire him on 1/2/2017, it could happen and if it weren't for the huge buyout there is better chance that it would because let's face it you have to win and he flat out hasn't.
Now I know you will either say I am completely crazy or delusional but because of his intelligence, principles and leadership ( plus some talent) that I believe we may see a huge turn around next year. He is not a happy guy and all options are on the table. Including coaches I am sure.
I saw these army leadership principles and they reminded me a lot of what Bob Diaco's preaches. It's his principles that he has been instilling that he is building upon.
1. Know yourself and seek self-improvement
2. Be tactically and technically proficient
3. Seek responsibility and take responsibility for your actions
4. Set the example
5. Know your people and look out for their welfare
6. Keep your people informed
7. Ensure the task is understood, supervised, and accomplished
8. Develop a sense of responsibility among your people
9. Train your people as a team
10. Make sound and timely decisions
11. Employ your unit in accordance with its capabilities
I also came across this website of 50 famous people who have failed only to learn from their mistakes and parlayed that learning experience on to success. One of them is Tom Landry.
50. Tom Landry: As the coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Landry brought the team two Super Bowl victories, five NFC Championship victories and holds the records for the record for the most career wins. He also has the distinction of having one of the worst first seasons on record (winning no games) and winning five or fewer over the next four seasons.
