Sometimes avatars imitate life.
You'd think that guy alone might make you reconsider anytime he agrees with you...
Sometimes avatars imitate life.
Our 6th losing season has the last remaining fans at each others throats.....sorry and predictable I suppose.
One never reveals sources my friend look at Rivals it should list those schools for DW.Soooo... none of the recruiting websites or VA local media that covered Hylton knew about these offers but you do? Pray tell. Where these offers before or after he committed to UConn in June 2015?.
(This is not questioning DW's athleticism/ability/potential just what you are posting as fact).
... he was offered by Wake, Duke, VT but because he said no he wanted to play QB they decided not to list those offers for fear of embarrasment.

offers-schmoffers. just kick back and watch the hudl video instead. throws a soft catchable ball with ease, eyes always down field, has some mobility.
Donovan Williams on Hudl
This web site link below speaks of interest but not offers per day but perhaps they came in with a late offer without a promise to play QB
Donovan already has two scholarship offers on the table. The first is from James Madison University who finished 9-4 in the Colonial Athletic Association last season. The second is from Fordham representing the Patriot League who went 11-2 on the season. Williams has continued to generate interest.
At this point CT was not even on the table.
You may have seen this but posting for others:
C.D. Hylton's Donavan Williams delivers the goods - Recruit 757
“Fordham and JMU are my only offers at the moment but I’ve gained interest from Duke, Florida State, Old Dominion University, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Purdue, Wake Forest, Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Nebraska”, notes Williams.
Hmmmmmm should I trust Exit 4's evaluation or the numerous college coaches who do this for a living? Tough call.
Again, he may turn out to be a good QB down the road. But he wasn't ready at this point in his development. Don't even know how people can argue otherwise.
Whaler, myself, and a few others were Public Enemy #1 here during Diaco's first year. There were signs from day 1. We either hired a brilliant coach or a used car salesman.
We got the used car salesman.
No question This three year stretch under Diaco 11-24 has been extremely hard to stomach and you have every right to be disappointed in him and the atrocious record. After going to a bowl last year and with an experienced, in shape team everyone expected more, a lot more.
I along with many, seriously question a number of things such as O-line, play calling, pass rush, pass defense, punt returns and blocks, clock management and selection of certain position coaches. By his own admission in the past, he has called himself a micro manager. His odd ball comments such as fish cake, Fettucine Alfredo and Batman, although amusing and go over well on the Jim Rome show, wear thin with an angry disinchanted fan base.
As fans, we had our hearts broken so many times in the past three years. Who could ever forget the heart breaking 22-17 loss to Army at Yankee stadium where we came back only to see Chandler Whitmer through the game ending interception last year. Then of course the clock F---up at Navy. Then there was the frustrated 9-6 loss at Missouri and again questionable play calling. I also get sick about Cuse this year and much more.
Finally, I do get tired of the pretty boy image, the perfect hair, not wearing a hat even in the rain yet wears that safari hat during practice. Then there are the red pants, the huge super man Husky logo and the matching belt buckle.
There, I have given my general list of frustration and reasons to ride Diaco's Ars out on a rail BUT, having said all this, I believe he is crazy enough to turn this crap show around.
I remember when Coach Cap and others talked about his inexperience as a head coach and the learning process. I believe he has learned a tremendous amount (at our expense) but I have a feeling that it will pay off next year. Unlike what Whaler said about lousy personnel next year, I actually think it will be improved with the biggest losses being Obi and Noel. However, overall, I think our D backfield and recieving corps will be more experienced and deeper.

WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT BOB DIACO
You have every right after what has transpired to spike the ball and say I told you so right now, if the game was over. Now, I don't know if Benedict is going to fire him on 1/2/2017, it could happen and if it weren't for the huge buyout there is better chance that it would because let's face it you have to win and he flat out hasn't.
Now I know you will either say I am completely crazy or delusional but because of his intelligence, principles and leadership ( plus some talent) that I believe we may see a huge turn around next year. He is not a happy guy and all options are on the table. Including coaches I am sure.
I saw these army leadership principles and they reminded me a lot of what Bob Diaco's preaches. It's his principles that he has been instilling that he is building upon.
1. Know yourself and seek self-improvement
2. Be tactically and technically proficient
3. Seek responsibility and take responsibility for your actions
4. Set the example
5. Know your people and look out for their welfare
6. Keep your people informed
7. Ensure the task is understood, supervised, and accomplished
8. Develop a sense of responsibility among your people
9. Train your people as a team
10. Make sound and timely decisions
11. Employ your unit in accordance with its capabilities
I also came across this website of 50 famous people who have failed only to learn from their mistakes and parlayed that learning experience on to success. One of them is Tom Landry.
50. Tom Landry: As the coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Landry brought the team two Super Bowl victories, five NFC Championship victories and holds the records for the record for the most career wins. He also has the distinction of having one of the worst first seasons on record (winning no games) and winning five or fewer over the next four seasons.

If he does last till next year, I hope to god CC is right.
Time for HCBD to resign for the good of the program and take Cummings with him. he is a joke.No question This three year stretch under Diaco 11-24 has been extremely hard to stomach and you have every right to be disappointed in him and the atrocious record. If these 2 games go the way I think they will AND if we retain Diaco I will be writing a eulogy for UConn football in Jan. It will be dead. And I'm not using hyperbole. There will Yankee Conference crowds next year.
Dannel Malloy's brother? Mike Cummings talks OLine "progress."
And recruiting wise, has Cummings brought in anyone?
?March 2015?
Yes, because the program would be so much better off with BS at the helm so we can lose by 10 instead of 14 in these two remaining games.
I think BS could be a winning QB on a team with an established rushing offense. However that is not us. And BS has had 19 starts and the guy we see today is the same guy we saw in game three. There has been no further development. If anything he seems more reluctant to throw a deep ball today than at the start of his career.
?March 2015?
Is it possible for you guys to respond to what has been posted without creating yet another strawman?
The conversation clearly shifted from BS to Diaco.
He didn't say anything about BS. Not a single word.
