I'm friends with Purvis on snapchat and he just had a picture up of him at his locker so he's definitely in Storrs and hopefully he'll be hosting Gibbs. He has a great personality and should be able to convince Gibbs that coming to UConn is in his best interest. Having Drummond on campus can't hurt either.
 
Please God, please, don't let this thread go where I think it's going. I'm really not ready for a series of "which golden girl's ass would you eat first" posts.

Gibbs brought it up. A lot of fan bases can throw "play for us - we want you" type pleas at a top recruit. But a more mature fan base, like ours, knows how to be good listeners, not just good talkers.

It makes an impression.

Spotted Gibbs and an unknown gentleman in a booth at Husky Pizza in Storrs. Texting you guys from the bathroom right now. The only part of the conversation I overheard was this goofy white guy telling him, "Quite frankly, you need to work on your fundamentals." Gibbs arched an eyebrow and excused himself.

This board (and this thread in particular) can be hilarious, and creepy as hell at the same time. But I know we are all killing time..at least for 20 more minutes..

It was an HBO special that I happened to be watching with a couple of buddies a few years ago. We have been quoting it ever since and it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread.
