Coming from the PAC 12 fan?! I’m glad you know the facts!
I can tell already that this will be the main theme of the next round of "worrier posts". UConn now has too many talented players on its roster; how can Geno possibly give them all enough minutes so that they don't get unhappy and transfer (since we all know how liberal the NCAA has gotten with transfers ...)?
Half the team will transfer out so that they can get minutes, and then UConn will finish in the bottom tier of the New Big East. We are dooooooomed!
That’s going out on a limb considering that two really good 6’5” posts will be on the roster. If she continues to develop, she would likely start from day 1 here. She is terrific.
Well, we can’t have it both ways. BY’ers have been complaining about a lack of quality depth and size since 2016. Now that Geno and his staff have leapfrogged the competition to line up a remarkable group of talented recruits we’re gonna complain about too many players on the roster?Lighten up Francis, it is a legitimate concern. We all know there have been hundreds of transfers in WBB. If the freshmen can be patient they will develop and multiple championships are probable.
DeBerry will bring de juice....she be berry berry good...

I hope Geno can keep 12+players happy.
)Uconn ripe for success by DeBerry picking UCONN.Uconn ripe for success by picking de berry...![]()
Wow! So If my math is correct, the Irish are currently playing with only 6 recruited scholarship players?I'm sure it's a problem he'll take: It's a better situation than trying to create somethin' out of nothin'.
(I'm speaking from real-life experience watching five walk-ons at ND last night.

Dang it, some BYers are going to have to come up with something different to whine about, now that the "no size" thing seems to be getting blown out of the water.
wow, somebody literally did exactly that as I was typing this--good job!
First day on the Boneyard? There’s always something to complain about
See, only took til page 3. BoneyardersI hope Geno can keep 12+players happy.

I watched Marshall play twice in the Federation Cup this past March. She certainly has talent. The one issue is that she will need to learn to play in the paint. CTK had two other senior frontcourt players, both D1 signees, who did much of the dirty work in the paint while Marshall played on the perimeter. With the seniors on to college, hopefully Marshall will move her game inside this season. If not, MM will need to pursuade her to do so once she gets to South Bend.Yup.
The Irish were playing when the DeBerry news broke last night. Brunelle looks beat up by the fouth quarter from having to play post on defense. (No legs on her jumper.) That's why that Tennessee match-up against their board-hounds could be hard. Very hard.
Thank you know who we have 6'4" or 6'5" Marshall coming in 2020. I sat next to her family at Fordham and she was considerably taller than this 6'2" poster.
She is a RS because she redshirted during her first transfer.Just to be nitpicky, I wouldn't consider Adebayo a R/S, she's a Grad Student.
Lordy. Now gotta update the spreadsheet again ...![]()
Okay, Boomer!Hope she begins a trend of no rip jeans...
I think this is a case where UCONN could have had its cake and eaten it too or however that expression goes. You forgot to mention the Australian prospect that wanted to come to UConn until the elders on the Aussie national team apparently twisted her arm to stay Down Under. I can't recall her name just now, but she was taken in the WNBA draft and may play on this continent after all. EZI MACBEGOR!!!
One has to wonder whether, if one or two of those players had come to Storrs, UConn might not have gotten Edwards, Gabriel, and/or Deberry. If that is true, then their decisions not to come were "all for the best".
step away more oftenStep away for one day from the Boneyard and look what happens. Welcome to UConn Amari and thank you.

My reaction was, “Boooooommmmm babbbbbby!!!”I love a good notification on a Friday. So glad we have an immovable, strong post on the way to UConn!! Love it when a player commits early! Bleed Blue!!!
