What a way to wake up on a Saturday morning!

It will happen. Look for it later today or early tomorrow.

Looking forward to it, 3. I'm expecting something Pulitzerish.

Jerry Meyer thinks very highly of Hamilton. Said that he will be top 5 player and he is the best wing in the class. He tweeted a recap of recruiting notes yesterday and I responded by saying:
@B_WRecruiting: @jerrymeyer247 you think very highly of Hamilton.
Then he said:
@jerrymeyer247: Yes. Loved him when first saw him last summer & only like him more each viewing

:) top TOS guy said he could easily be top 5 in the class after this summer.. this is huge for ollie
Yeah seems like all the recruiting analysts are very impressed with his game this spring and mention they will move him up in their next update to the rankings. We could have 2 McDonald's All Americans coming in in 2014. At least.

JC is also the guy that handpicked Ollie and shoehorned him into the head coaching position amidst a skeptical fanbase and administration. There were many who thought JC was holding the program back by not allowing a traditional nationwide search for a "proven" head coach.

It now looks like JC is just as great at being a GM as he was as coach, his legend grows.

Just got up and see this as the first post of the day (for me). FANTASTIC! He's #44 per scout, 27 per ESPN, and 28 per rivals. How can anyone not love where Ollie is taking the program? Just great news!!

this is what scout says about him----

Daniel Hamilton has made alarming progress in his game over the past year. He's grown a few inches, has become a very good passer and an improved scorer. His three-point shot is better but Hamilton's best scoring from midrange and in. Already at 6-foot-7, Hamilton has the right size for a small forward and once he puts on strength, it will be interesting to see where he can take his game.
Sounds a lot like another Hamilton and he did okay here.

It has to be a huge relief for the staff to be able to get out there on the recruiting trail and not worry about scholarship reductions or about having to answer questions about being ineligible for the tournament. I've been wondering how the conference stuff is going to affect recruiting but hopefully this is the first sign of many that tell us that it won't hurt us as long as we have the right guy leading the way.

Agree, possibly one of best stories in cball for recruiting, just hope none of the Conf BS impedes it too much

Purvis, Hamilton, its only just beginning, KO is gonna be a force on the trail.

The thing is, they are still handcuffed on the recruiting trail. Ollie still can't travel. Imagine what will happen when he gets out there.
