In 'Weha' center* I'm partial to the Irish pub, McLadden's. The center is literally 3 miles from the home I grew up in. Grant's is OK. I'm not in town very often, though, so never ran into any "celebs."

*Didn't know until this thread that people called it 'weha'.
U don't work at Hart or StF? Barcelona is by far my favorite for food. Bartaco is full of RN after 7pm

Pretty disappointing that Cobb, who has been given a golden opportunity to make something of himself, both in basketball and school, has seemingly thrown it away again.

Frank Martin didn't want him back and that should have been a clue to UConn, but the kid may be a con artist who was able to convince Ollie that he has seen the light. Either way, he didn't seem to be able to harness what appeared to be good athletic ability and make a meaningful contribution to a team that desperately needs his physical makeup.

Maybe Edsall can talk him into playing Defensive end on the football team. We could use a big man with attitude. LOL!

No, live in Southern NH now. Bartaco sounds like it could be fun ... for the right single MD. Haven't eaten at Barcelona, will give it a try next time I'm 'home'.

SNHHS is a nice hospital to work with.

Finally got to the end of the thread after skimming it a few times. All I gotta say is that the BY is full of really creepy guys - myself included.

Still wearing your fishy kneepads I see

He’s a 2 way player. What too soon?

I'm not judging, just like I didn't judge when you announced on the cesspool you had a wet dream about .

I'm fine with letting Cobb take two per game. He has a nicer stroke

Maybe Cobb played some one-on-one with Stephanie.

Needed a warm body. Got a warm body.

Taliek Brown would eat Jalen Adams.
Mike Tyson!

Were you under their bed?

Her saying YES YES YES is very analogous to that 4:1 feeling

That's based on a relationship from 2014 and prior. KO in 2018 isn't the same guy as 2014 and prior.

Hurgh? Say what? I know this has been said, but I never realized you people actually believe that! So which is it? Is he the guy that rode on Calhoun's exhaust fumes to a national championship? Or is he the evil genius coach who made all the right moves and then changed overnight ala Jekyll and Hyde?

And the really cool people call East Hartford EaHa, but they changed the name to YeaHa when Rhett Lashlee moved in, so that his wife would feel more at home.

I’ve been anti KO this season but I truly believe that if he had better talent he could win with it. Do any of you think coach K could win with these guys? He couldn’t. That said, these are KO’s players, and if they’re not talented enough it’s his fault. 3.5 million reasons he gets the blame.

I believe a better coach would get more out of these players.

This is not a particularly good group of players, but life and death to beat bad Ivy teams? No. Taking historic beatings by the likes of Arkansas and Auburn? No. Should this group of players be completely unable to play any sort of offense? No.

2012/2013 Kevin Ollie would have done more than 2017/2018 Kevin OIlie.

You can't really have watched the last 2 seasons and not observed a huge change from 2012-2014. The first two years KO could inspire and motivate. None of that is present anymore. You can try to deny it all you want, but it's right in front of you.

Exactly. This group of players is at least a 20 win NIT bid level team with competent coaching. Brilliant coaching might have gotten them into the tournament.

That said, the only two losses where the really could have won were Tulsa and Syracuse. The others were to legit top 25 teams. Our OOC schedule ended up being brutal.

Seems crystal clear to me. And it is certainly no stretch for a guy who used his faith and family as the defining traits of his existence to be a little lost and aimless when it all fell apart.

So @upstater, I think it's a bit of both: (a) he had help from JC and Hobbs early on, and he was a stronger, more motivated person then; and (b) now that he probably needs even more help because his life is in disarray, he has removed those people and is doing it "his way".

I’m lost. Why would the teamsters be involved ?
There was a lot of frustration about how the Women Cemter’s protestors affected Nate’s due process. So we needed something to offset that intimidation at the next hearing. I was talking to a Teamster Official, who I had occasionally given game tickets to and he offered to get me the guys if I provide a bus and beer. Then the NCAA stuff came out and it became a dead issue.

Chief00 - You were planning to use mercenaries to counter protesting feminists? Buying them beer? Sounds like a strategy for a riot doomed to go down in a blaze.
