Amateurs! Try 489 wins and 93 losses (84% winning percentage) in 16.5 years. Only Geno and Leon Barmore have better winning percentages and it is only a matter of time until Mulkey surpasses Barmore. Tara has been coaching 38 years and only has two championships? And McGraw has been coaching for 35 years and has only 1 title? SMH

Muffet now finds herself in the awkward position, heading into ND's game with UNC tomorrow, of helping to hasten the date on which Geno surpasses Hatchell.

UNC now getting dangerously close to a losing record and thus no postseason invite, which will further delay Hatchell's 1000th. Heels are 12-8, but have 5 remaining games against ranked teams which are likely losses. Would need to go 3-1 against the others, which is far from guaranteed.

Thanks for updating your win projections. Thought I'd add the following:
Tara is on schedule to complete the season with about 1010 wins; GA 993 if Uconn remains undefeated and wins the national championship, Hatchell at or near the current season winning percentage 993 - 998; and Muffett McGraw over 850 wins.

Gonna be strange when Vanderveer breaks Summit's record first.
 
In looking at the numbers, Geno will most likely catch and pass Hatchell. He's 12 wins behind and if UConn makes to FF 16 more wins (18 for NC) and Hatchell will be pressed to to win more than 4 games this year. Also in looking at the number of games Geno has won over the past 3 seasons compared to Tara, he has a real chance to bear her. He is only 23 behind her and he outpaced her by more than that. Just sayin...
