The expectation within the Big East is that all of the schools will budget between $4-8 million in revenue-sharing from the House v. NCAA settlement for roster-building purposes, NJ Advance Media has learned. Seton Hall expects to budget in the middle of that range.
During an interview Thursday with NJ Advance Media and Gannett New Jersey, Pirates AD Bryan Felt was asked if he believed Seton Hall could be competitive with St. John’s, UConn and the Big East’s top schools in terms of NIL.
“That is our goal,” Felt said. “Yes, 100%. We’re confident.”
NJ Advance Media previously reported that Seton Hall’s current NIL budget was in the neighborhood of $1.5 million, while St. John’s reportedly spent $4 million this past season.
