The expectation within the Big East is that all of the schools will budget between $4-8 million in revenue-sharing from the House v. NCAA settlement for roster-building purposes, NJ Advance Media has learned. Seton Hall expects to budget in the middle of that range.

During an interview Thursday with NJ Advance Media and Gannett New Jersey, Pirates AD Bryan Felt was asked if he believed Seton Hall could be competitive with St. John’s, UConn and the Big East’s top schools in terms of NIL.

“That is our goal,” Felt said. “Yes, 100%. We’re confident.”

NJ Advance Media previously reported that Seton Hall’s current NIL budget was in the neighborhood of $1.5 million, while St. John’s reportedly spent $4 million this past season.

Rumors are they spent $1 million just on Najai Hines this season, he was the #4 center and #36 overall recruit in the 2026 class.

The NIL numbers aren't publicly disclosed so it's spitballing but a more accurate # based off of word of mouth and what their AD has said they're conservatively sending $6 million all in on men's basketball.
One of the strange rumors I heard was that Sha had a decent NIL this year but didn't spend all of it. No idea if he was banking or just liked the guys he got for less, but a strange rumor nonetheless.

I have a sizable parlay that included ISU + the Under (should have gone ISU -7.5) and now includes Seton Hall +7.5. Debating whether to hedge, but the Pirates have looked good and the Trojans have not impressed me.

SH up by 2 @ the half over NC State, if they could pull this off the week would already be a success for them
changed my mind after 50 minutes of play, they should win this tourney.

Ejiofor is playing truly awful today. St. Johns should be up 20+ if he was having just a subpar game. Not sure what is happening.

Edit: Not sure what is happening, but I would pull Ejiofor if I was Pitino.

Seton Hall up 25-14 on USC early. They have 7 steals already, these guys play like rabid dogs.

The most amazing thing is that they don't foul. Cooley's teams play good defense because they clutch and grab and dare the refs to call it. Holloway's teams just play great, in your face, man-to-man defense.

Calling fouls on them like crazy now, 4 guys with 2 fouls.

Terrible end to the half for Seton Hall. Rodney Rice went crazy and scored 13 in a row. Budd Clark got called for his third foul with 41 second left and USC hit a shot at the buzzer. Hall only up 4 at the break.

I get Holloway's thinking leaving Clark in with 2 fouls to maintain the lead and carry momentum into the half but it backfired on him, SH still fell apart the last 3 minutes or so and Clark ended up getting his 3rd anyway.

I didn't see that Hurley 2 beat Sean Miller last night. This field is WIDE open for the Hall, lol.

Have heard similar. That there have been issues with the value he puts on guys, and when they ask for more, he goes ape s*it lol.

Where are you guys, superjohn, Kemba15, nelsonmuntz and auror finding Seton Hall rumors?

SH blowing an opportunity here with Rice hurt, I thought that would be a chance for SH to extend the lead and instead their getting ran now

Sucks for Texas because they get Chaminade, the Division 2 School that hosts the Maui Invitational. Texas has nothing to gain from victory but plenty to lose on the resume if they lose the game.

They were slow to the NIL shift in college basketball and they were fundraising for their new $55 million practice facility when the landscape was changing.

A lot of this narrative that Seton Hall is the sisters of the poor stems directly from Shaheen and then you got Pitino and Repole weighing in. I'm sure it pisses off the AD.

How do you know this? Is this through internet research or do you have connections to SH's program?

What I said is based on public information/comments from those individuals.

I do know Seton Hall isn't Little Sisters of the Poor, they have money for basketball.

Terrible call on the out of bounds to give game to USC. Hurley was right about the refs out there.
