??I’m not sure what you mean by “what tourist would eat that?” You were the one saying there are unusual toppings in Italy.
Maybe I'm getting the name of it wrong. All I know is that I've seen with my own eyes all over Italy. I lived in Padova for over a year and I have seen literally ALL of Italy, every single corner of it, I've seen much more than the vast majority of Italians. The Italians I traveled with every weekend took the opportunity to see their country with me. It was always the same guy who ordered the hot dog and french fries pizza and he did it all over Italy.I think there’s a mix-up. Viennese is typically a kid-friendly option, often served with fries. Diavola is the one with spicy meats and real heat. That’s pretty standard, so I’m not sure where your description is coming from.
Heh, reminds me of one summer my family I went to Italy to spend a month travelling up and down the Western coast visiting relatives. We brought lobsters (can't do that now) and HFS, my cousin in Roma sucked all the meat out of every nook and cranny out of that lobster like a man possessed. But yeah, the seafood we had in Calabria was just heaven.Grazie per avermi fatto rivivere questo viaggio attraverso foto e video

There's this place right by the train station. It's hard to pronounce the name, but sort of reminds me of a car company. 🙄Alright best pizza in Manhattan?
Don’t give me L’Industrie either I don’t want to stand in line for 45 min and watch 22 year olds film themselves eating.
Best seafood of my life was in Burano.Heh, reminds me of one summer my family I went to Italy to spend a month travelling up and down the Western coast visiting relatives. From, um...ahem, the USA to Italy.😅😂🤣You brought lobsters from where to where?
Wow, that's what I thought you meant!!!!From, um...ahem, the USA to Italy.😅😂🤣
Only us Italians would do stuff like that. Too funny 🤣From, um...ahem, the USA to Italy.😅😂🤣
We'd bring back loads of cheese, olives, and jarred fish from the markets of Amantea...putting that fish on fresh homemade bread along with the cheese and olive...I'm freaking drooling over here.Only us Italians would do stuff like that. Too funny 🤣
Chrissy's or Krispy's? The videos for Krispy are derivative at this point, but they are still oddly captivating.Has anybody tried Chrissy's Pizza in Brooklyn? I somehow found it on Instagram and the pizzas look amazing but I have not been to the city.
Now serving that on a cruise ship isn't surprising at all. They serve that pizza on MSC, an Italian cruise line

This spot, and a bunch of others are all within walking/stumbling distanceMy neighborhood is 20%+ Italian ... solid pizza and Italian restaurants everywhere
I looked at that list 3x and while I saw all the Sally's locations, I did not see Pepe's.Good to see Grigg Street on that list. Letizia’s is surprising. Been a few years since I’ve had one of those dreamy Atticus pies.

my pleasure, and if ever near, ping me ... I am not a foodie, but endorse this list Google SearchThanks for posting that!!! We were in Fort Lauderdale last December for a cruise and just took in local seafood. Being fully calabrese, I gotta put this spot on our itinerary for later this year when we go back to Fort Lauderdale for another cruise.
