The first ten minutes of this game may see me shooting bourbon shots as I watch offensive ineptitude. Then the mojo beer. Seems that Leiny's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter was in my hand when the 16-2 run began.

You know, I finally think I figured out what is wrong with our team this year. THIS THREAD.

After the intital post, the second post should have been Rolling Rock and the Thread should have been locked. Instead we mocked the Sacreds with talk of Hop counts and freshness dates.

we a$$banged the mojo and the mojo a$$banged us.

Went down to the Thimble Island Brewery on Saturday for a tour and tasting. Their limited edition vanilla coffee stout was great. The rest was just ok. Unfortunately, they don't package that one; hoping they will next winter as they're moving into a new building and going to be able to up their output by 10 times once there.

Also for @8893 , I stopped into Infinity Hall on Friday before the game. I saw Lawson's Sip of Suinshine on tap and nearly did a backflip; however, turns out they ran out of the Sunshine and never changed the tap when they replaced it with a different Lawson's beer. I was heartbroken. The Super Session #2 was pretty good, but no SoS. All in all a nice place with a very good taplist; thanks for the recommendation.

I am hearing Lucky Taco on Main St. in Manchester has an amazing beer selection on tap includng SoS.

I'm not east o' the river too often....but I know where I'll be stopping when I am.

When in Colorado I had a few brews from Breckenridge Brewery - didn't run into a beer I didn't like. Avalanche Ale, Vanilla Porter, and the Kensho Kolsch were all excellent.

Also had Alaskan's Amber Ale and it was really really good.

I won't ask how you got into my basement fridge if you step away immediately and leave with your hands empty.

No kidding. Add a few ciders and some Sea Hag (and a growler of Firefly Brewing's Cone Flakes IPA an hour ago) and that is almost exactly my beer fridge right now.

And a note to self: Sea Hag is phenomenal right now. Probably the best, freshest, accessible beer in state right now. And they are selling so much that they are cutting back their normal supply to most of my local sources, so they've been stockpiling it. I'm hearing that they expect to have problems meeting demand soon. A good problem for them.

A hidden gem we found was All Green by Other Half Brewing out of Brooklyn. A Triple IPA...AMAZING!

My local guy has been holding it for me. Last batch was 3/10/15. Like Lawson's, this is another one where you have to ask, and most are holding it for regular customers only.

Haven't had that one yet, but their regular IPA is also excellent. Beer of choice at Brooklyn Bowl.

I can't believe I saw that in a local store and didn't know if it was any good so I passed.

I need to start keeping a list of all the high praise beers on this thread. Just so I am prepared. :)
