Ball, Bray and Stew....

Was always hoping he would turn into an Edmund Saunders type player w/ 8 or so ppg and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. He just never took the next step. This year his FG% dropped from 54 to 43.

Great kid and was a contributor on a national championship team and national runner up team. He improved his defense a lot but it never really clicked for him offensively, I hope he goes to a place like Dayton or St. Louis (don't know their rosters but you get the idea) starts and shows out. Always a Husky.
I’d like Gonzaga — great program near home that also I could see realistically pulling for him. I think he might not have clicked with our system, and has a lot of potential.

It's funny you bring him up. Edmund and Jaylin are two guys I think of who had more game than they showed here. Edmund clashed with Calhoun on the court because coach was all about his bigs (even though he was only 6'8) setting screens and finishing/cleaning up around the rim. He had a really good mid range game but never got too much of a chance to show it, wasn't featured much.

Jaylin is even more of a tweener, pretty good at everything but didn't show enough consistency on offense to be featured on stacked teams. Always had a great attitude and was the consummate teammate but for whatever reasons it didn't click for him offensively, part of it was the makeup of the team. I'll be rooting hard for him and he's a part of the UConn family, so is his dad.

Love JStew, but this move seems ultimately the best for all parties.

We all saw the log jam building up.

Colben Landrew and Jayden Ross need big minutes.

Hopefully we bring Nik Khamenia on board and get Braylon and Solo back.

yeah....we have 4 guys who need minutes at 2/3...and are effectively unserviceable at other positions....and 3 guys for the other 3 spots. something's gotta give unless we're expecting braylon or nick to be a second primary ballhandler, but that means we still are short a big.

At least we can move on with our lives and hopefully have some dominoes start falling. This week has been more agonizing than waiting for the plane to land to take me home from Afghanistan.

Transfer season does not bring out the best of The Boneyard, there are so many definitive statements. Very few of us, if any, know what the staff has planned for the roster and yet post constantly.
Can we have this posted at the start of every thread?

Nah man. Everything is relative. Serving was a pleasure and not everyone gets the opportunity. My own posts are selfish in the moment because we mostly focus on the now.

All we can do is support where support is needed!
