Ball, Bray and Stew....

Why is portal season more stressful than the NCAA tournament? The tournament has a schedule. You know when to stress. This is like, maybe you’ll know something today, maybe in three days, maybe never. Who knows?

He just responded to Dauster with a Kobe GIF - not sure if we're reading into this, but I wouldn't call those great signs.

Why not a great sign? #24.

You think he's going to the Lakers?

Don't even attempt to figure out what's going on in RuffRuff's head.

I am confused

If Braylon is going into the draft and Khamenia is not coming
and Ball isn't coming back
Why would Stew transfer

Seems there would be a starting position for him

You think his dad is trying to troll the fanbase on his way out?

Tough to get shots up in rhythm when Solo Ball regularly goes 3/12 fg 1/7 3pt and the offense is designed to feed Reed, Karaban, Mullins, Demary first.

Why’d we let Solo force up so many shots all season knowing his shooting wrist was injured?

You could see the change in both Stewart and Ross and the end of the season. Zero hesitation on scoring opportunities. It will carry over to their senior years.

I hate to poo on Ball to make a point, but the difference in leash those three have been able to enjoy and improve as scorers has been vastly different.
I wasn’t going to post this because I’m not trying to hate on Solo, but here’s an interesting final season stat I noticed…
Ball took more threes than anyone on the team, by a lot (257 attempts). That was 51 more attempts than second place Karaban (201). Ball also had the worst three point percentage (30%) of all nine rotation players, except Reed (who was 0-4).

How many times do people have to be told, his shooting wrist was damaged all year?

It was the one after midnight that was weird. Bulls. But probably nothing.
If you were posting responses regarding potential upcoming announcements, the bulls intro and Kobe are 2 of the most iconic references of greatness.

I’d be posting them too, this means nothing beyond that imo.

The bulls is referring to the last dance as in next year at UConn. He’s not trying to publicly predict which team is going to draft his son

That’s exactly right, he never took the next step like Ross
Really? Let's not get carried away as their stats were eerily similar. Ross at 4.6 PPG and Stewart at 4.2 PPG. Rebounds Ross at 2.5 RPG and Stewart at 2.6 RPG. Assists Ross .8 APG and Stewart at 1.1 APG. Defensively Steals Ross .8 SPG and Stewart .5 SPG and blocks Ross .4 BPG and Stewie .3 BPG. Shooting there is a difference .504 vs. .430 in Ross favor. 3 Pt shooting .391 to .345.

So Ross picked it up shooting at the end of the year but his stats don't differ from Stewart that much. They both were integral pieces off the bench with Stewart normally coming in first before Ross until the injury. How do we know if Stewart wouldn't of excelled getting Ross's minutes as roles were reversed. Stewart played great D and could hit 3s too. Ross was key to helping our bench with Smith especially in the tourney but I think Stewart if healthy could of been too. I'm glad Ross is back but wish they were both back as key reserves off the bench.

So because of his wrist he missed all those shots? Im not buying it.
Yeah well we know you’re whole schtick @ArizonaHsky. Maybe you should believe the coaches and players who know a lot more than you do about how hard it is to be a knockdown distance shooter with a chronic wrist injury.

Ross was way more active on the court than Stewart. Ross utilized his athleticism.

Stewart was a better rebounder and assists guy. They are different types of athletes. Just because someone is super active doesn't mean he is effective. He became more effecitve with more minutes as 3pt shooting % picked up. I'm sure Stewart could of done this with more minutes. His defense has improved drastically. They were both integral parts of the bench and it sucked that Stewart was never fully healthy after that Villanova game.
