Ball, Bray and Stew....

Fake news
Man, it's gonna be really hard to trust Locked on if 1 or both of these things is not true. I love the idea of a daily sports pod that features my favorite teams. But what good is it if they aren't reliable?. I know they're owned by Nextar, which is so big that I question any kind of scrutiny in regards to content.

Are there any boneyarders who you think should host this thing? Go nuts (This thread needs to be locked anyway)

These announcement edits must take a really long time nowadays

Yep posted it in the general portal thread and try to get a thread started but it hasn't gone live.

Great kid and was a contributor on a national championship team and national runner up team. He improved his defense a lot but it never really clicked for him offensively, I hope he goes to a place like Dayton or St. Louis (don't know their rosters but you get the idea) starts and shows out. Always a Husky.

One of my favorite players. I'm feeling super sad he is leaving. This sucks!!!! He had that great Big East Conference final game when we won it all against Marquette I believe but never could stay consistent on offense.

Great teammate-Give him credit for coming to East Coast to pursue his BB dream. Expect him to get a great deal of interest in portal. Will be missed in Storrs but I'm sure he and Dan had an honest conversation about next season. Had his moments for us.
Wish him well.

Hurley’s 2nd biggest mistake in his tenure at UConn has been the mismanagement of Stewie. (1st was recruiting Mahaney).
Not seeing validity in this statement. Players dictate their minutes in the system. Stewart obviously has talent, but would just disappear for long stretches of games. He never seemed comfortable in the complexities of the offense. Must say his three point shooting bailed UConn out a few times. Overall though he lacked the consistency to get additional minutes. The injury didn't help this year. When injured Ross shined. It is a tough business with NIL in a top 5 program. Not a position where UConn has depth. It will be interesting where Hurley goes to fill the Karaban/Stewart roles.

Best of luck to National Champion, Jaylin Stewart.
Hard to call this a mistake by Hurley.

Have we forgotten Rahsool Diggins? Corey Floyd?

This one just makes me really sad. Always loved Stewie and was consistently waiting for that breakout I still hope comes. Really hoped he saw it through but I understand his side.
Yeah, I really loved the exuberance he played with when he made a great play. Super sad too and tearing up a little.
