Purdue has some lower top 25 ranked teams toward the end of their schedule which is more than what we have. I don’t know if they have a tougher schedule because the BE can be deceiving in it’s strength.

Well, New Orleans was looking good until Purdue went on a 24-2 run to close out 1st half. Not that NO is any good, but PU suddenly remembered defense, which was impressive.

San Francisco is a pesky group. Don’t mess it up, Bob!

I specifically requested that they not mess up this whole both ranked thing. And yet, here they are, messing it up. They’re missing a Cambridge, but c’mon!

For people who care about such things, Xavier is at 28 and we play them next week. I think people's obsession with the number of ranked teams we'll play in BE play is a bit out of touch but for their sake:

Xavier is home against Seton Hall Wednesday so will likely need 3+ ranked teams to lose to get ranked ahead of our New Years Eve game
I said I didn't care, but #24 Marquette lost yesterday, #21 Virginia Tech lost earlier today and #25 Arizona State is down 43-11 right now so seems like a loss there. Seems like they may sneak in at 25 for next week's game

Rankings stacked against BE. Right now SEC 6, ACC 4, Big 10 has4 and BE 2 teams in top 25 ( Marquette being 24). The conferences now play each other and basically reinforce those numbers moving slightly up and down as they knock each other off but in the BE teams out of the 25 can only move in to the fringe by beating UCONN. Let’s say Nova gets hot, beats us and everyone else for awhile, how do they move into the top 10? They are beating unranked or low ranked top 25 teams. Creighton beats Marquette #24, so what?
This how the whole thing seems to me and furthermore Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and Kansas will be top 10 by year end whether they truly earn it or not because of bias. Them beating other teams will make a difference because of… drum roll… their names as blue bloods. Just watch.
