So ACC fans how does your team stack up for the 2025 Top-100 recruits? Here's a look at how things stand *:

1) Stanford : 4 commits (#10,#33,#83,#87) on 1 finalist list (#31) their roster has 14 (2 seniors) so I don't know how they even fit the 4 commits next year????
2) NC : 2 commits (#14,#21) on 7 finalist lists (#6,#23,#36,#40,#63,#72,#79) 2-3 spots available
3) VT : 2 commits (#82,#85) on 9 finalist lists (#5,#23,#44,#55,#57,#61,#79,#89,#99) 2 - 4 spots available
4) Duke : 0 commits - on 7 finalist lists (#3,#6,#19,#23,#31,#36,#63) 1 -2 spots available
5) Miami : 4 commits (#94,#98, + 2 UR) on 5 finalist lists (#34,#40,#55,#61,#67) 3 - 5 spots available
6) ND : 1 commit (#12) on 2 finalist lists (#7,#15)
2 - 9 spots available
7) FSU : 2 commits (#93 + 1 UR) on 3 finalist lists
(#40,#55,#70) 3 - 6 spots available
8) Louisville : 0 commits - on 5 finalist lists
(#7,#15,#44,#47,#61) 3 - 5 spots available
9) NC ST : 0 commits - on 4 finalist lists
(#23,#36,#57,#58) 5 - 7 spots available
10) Cal : 1 commit (UR) on 5 finalist lists
(#19,#44,#47,#57,#99) 5 - 7 spots available
11) Clemson : 1 commit (#42) on 4 finalist lists
(#61,#70,#80,#89) Shows 17 ?!? on roster(walk ons?)
3 - 7/9 available
12) Syracuse : 3 commits (#54 + 2 UR) on 2 finalist list
(#57,#76) 4 - 7 spots available
13) BC : 3 commits (#71 + 2 UR) on 1 finalist list (#57)
1 - 4 spots available
14) SMU : 1 commit (#73) not on any finalist list
3 - 5 spots available
15) GT : 1 commit (UR) on 1 finalist list (#34) 3 - 4 spots available
16) VA : 1 commit (UR) on 1 finalist list (#55)
2 - 4 spots available
17) Pitt : 1 commit (UR) on 1 finalist list (#34)
2 - 5 spots available
18) WF : 3 commitments (UR) on 1 finalist list (#99)
2 - 6 spots available

* 14 ranked players have yet to post a finalist list (#9,#16,#18,#27,#29,#35,#65,#66,#84,#86,#88,#89,#96, and #100) and of course some notable UR players have put out finalist lists and will most likely be ranked when the top 100 is later updated/revamped (Grace Mbugua comes to mind).

# of spots available to each team was calculated based on current 2024-25 roster and the # of seniors/grads listed

First year coaches (Stanford is a bit of an exception) VT, Miami, and Clemson have all done better than I expected.
So far, it appears Louisville, NC State, and ND have fallen off a bit which is a surprise to me.

Hard to think these three teams have fallen off, even if they don't land someone this year. That was the sense with Louisville and then they bring in a good 2024 class.

As far as Duke goes, I'll be shocked if we sign 2 players. With Ari's injury, she is now pushed to the '25 class. We need a point guard (Puff seems most likely), but I would love to get Somfai. Don't see us getting the other big names at all.

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Puff?

As a State fan this isn’t unusual. Now we if whiff and don’t land but 1 of those targets then that’ll be surprising. But the last 2 years snagging Zoe Brooks and Zam Jones - those two were the highest ranked recruits in school history (both top 10-15). That’s sort of unusual for State. Wes gets in a lot of top 100 players but rarely top 25 talent.

UNC brings in better recruits consistently. But the results on the court would make you think State recruits at a higher level than they do. I think State likes where they are with a couple of the ones you listed from things I’ve read, but who knows.

Excited to watch her play. Is it a poor comparison but does she give Emily Engstler vibes.

So am I, but I think it's a little early to compare her against anyone until we see how she fares with her outside shooting. That's been the question mark for some time.

Drat. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Maddy Westbeld has been a trooper for the Irish, never missing extended time. Save for a few games off for blows to the nose or eyes (followed by wearing a mask), she's then back in the line-up. So this injury must be one that bore serious consideration.

Coach Ivey's decision to bring in grad transfers Liza Karlen and Liatu King now looks extremely fortuitous. Having first team Big East and ACC players to handle the absence will help, to say the least.

The one pre-season Irish reality is that Kate Koval will not be brought along slowly (if that ever was the plan). She, Karlen and King will probably take the majority of the time up front, but against certain teams I could see taller/big guards playing the four (Sonia Citron, Cass Prosper). Citron did that successfully in the U-19 World Cup (making the Tourney First-Team in that capacity). King and Karlen will be most of the reps, but don't be surprised to see Citron or Prosper.

Good luck Maddy. Hope to see you soon.

The best thing to come out of this is getting Koval more minutes than she may have with all four of their posts. Of course Maddy getting healthy is also a great thing too! She's going to be a pro

That's a bummer. She's one of my faves, so skilled. They do have some good players who can fill in but hopefully she takes her time to get better.
Hope that's case: King and Karlen have (lots of) talent.
However, really hoping Maddy can come back to join Miles, Citron and Hidalgo later in the season.

Agree on all fronts, particularly that Maddy will be a pro. 6'3" solid forwards who can score from all levels, rebound and pass are not that common. Plus, her work ethic is exceptional.

Her 3-point shooting greatly improved over the last couple of years and and a really solid all-around player. Somebody going to get a steal in the next draft.
