Minnesota had a chance to sweep New York tonight and send a strong message the rest of the season for the rest of the league. The starters for the Lynx, minus Courtney, just did not have it going. I want to put out some positivity towards Angel Reese after watching that attempted comeback by the Sky.

The way she’s played this season when available is a desperately needed bright spot for the unfortunate Sky. She is the emotional leader of the team, has improved as a playmaker and, not trying to be mean, but her motor is so much more consistent than Cardoso’s. People can laugh about the “mebounds” but Reese is a beast on the boards I can never look at that in a negative light!

Also, Malonga is going to be VERY good in a couple seasons. She already is good but it’s going to eventually get scary!
