Regarding Ole Miss, they have added 3 transfers who combined for almost 54 points a game at their previous schools, none of which made the NCAA tournament. All appear to have 1 season remaining. Did Ole Miss lose a lot of their current starters to graduation? I've seen how they lost a lot of non-starters to the portal. So, looks like a complete overhaul.

Ice Brown, ASU transfer, in addition to her other statistics I believe led the Big 12 in turnovers. A talented offensive player she is relatively low efficiency, needs the ball in her hands and is a turnover machine.

While I like Taina Mair a lot and believe that she was more than solid for Duke this year, I wouldn't call Duke "set at PG" with Olivia Miles in the picture. Gotta kick the tires on Miles here.
True. They also have Skinner coming in who is the #2 PG recruit in the country next year. I get the vibe though that Kara isn’t a huge portal shopper. Most kids she recruits have been sticking around and she hasn’t recruited over them. Taking a transfer like Miles for one year and recruiting over existing players/recruits would be a new approach for her.

Kara's first two or three seasons, she was a huge portal shopper. She hasn't had a large amount of transfers lately to have to go to the portal.

Miles and Koval are tempting, but I hope South Carolina holds out for the big Notre Dame transfer.

Welp, never say never in these days of an endlessly revolving transfer portal: https://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/...tess-heal-enters-transfer-portal-20253650.php

All I really want to know is what gave Kate the confidence to say everyone told her they were coming back? Did Heal change her mind, or just lead her on? Sad to see her go - she was by far our most efficient shooter on an effective fg percentage basis, although she was consistently beaten on defense and I think that led to her reduced minutes over the course of the season.

And blatantly so. I guess the rules don't apply to Mark Campbell because he's so darn likable!
Of course tampering is happening, it's just like real life. The headhunter calls, you agree the new job...only then do you inform current employer. Otherwise, you risk getting tossed out the door with no secure landing spot.

Just like not being able to include NIL amount in recruitment pitch, the ncaa anti-tampering rule will not hold up in court. Note how coaches are hired, they are tampered with and then announce new school. They don't announce they are leaving, and then start a job search.

You guys always have me chuckling, so I guess you are saying you really, reallly like her game and she's a great pick-up!

…I’m not sure we need her but a Miles-Strong-Fudd duo would be great
My controversial opinion is a program losing both their starting PG and the #1 overall pick could find a spot for a PG projected to be the #2 overall pick.

Not a proper fit. Dawn has been getting a lot of criticism, for reigning in Lay, the past few weeks.
And with the amount of chucks, and ball hogging that ND girl does, it doesn’t fit Dawn’s offense.
