Tarris Reed as a junior = Adama as a sophomore. He just hadn't had enough good coaching to make the leap to star. His per-40 stats are quite similar to Adama's sophomore season... Reed had a much better offensive rating, %s, more blocks and more rebounds, and more assists... but fouled more and had a little bit less effective DRTG. He's probably a bit ahead of sophomore Adama.
I think every statistical indication is there (plus the eye test) that Reed is poised to make a MASSIVE leap. The difference between his sophomore season at UM and junior season in Storrs is already staggering.
