Aaliyah Edwards snared an offensive rebound and got fouled with 2 seconds left before splitting the free throws to win the Ontario championships for Crestwood 71-70. She had made two free throws to tie the game with 20 seconds left.

29 points (9-18 FG, 10-17 FT), 10 rebounds, 3 steals

Edwards was named MVP of the tournament.

Milford, catching up on some posts after all those noon starting times in the ACC playoffs.

Not sure there was ever "mutual interest" at all between this prospect and ND. Maybe in the stands at some AAU tournament very early on, but nothing beyond that to the best of my knowledge.

Strange part is that Edwards had most of her misses in the first half and was red hot in the 4th quarter. She is a "closer" that will look good in a Uconn uniform.

She is indeed. I like her combination of size and athleticism to go along with her skill set and motor. I hope the interest is mutual between she and UConn.

Another home visit for Anaya Boyd, this time with NC State. Is she still viewed as a target or potential target?

Absolutely! 6'5" athletic, breath of fresh air, both on and off the court....she's her own best self! Now, she reminds me a lot of a very young, athletic Brianna Turner in her ability to run, get off her feet and be a very active presence.. Not sure if she has the ability to handle and shoot the ball on the full run like Bri (the "Jewel-ly ooops"), but Nat has a jump shot. Plus, all the articles I read indicate she's intellectually curious, which is also similar to Breezy Bri. Crossing Irish fingers on this one.

Wonder where the MM & Niele show will go next? (Same for Geno and Chris).
