Bueckers not scoring too much but watching her in a HS game it looks like Hopkins snuck a 21 year-old D1 player onto their roster.

the scary thing is it's been that way for the past three years.............

Pistol Paige Bueckers' Hopkins Royals play Wayzata at 6:30 ET to close out the regular season. Hopkins won the 1st meeting on the back of Buecker's 40+. The rest of the team plaed like 8th & 9th graders, which is what they are for the most part but looking at the box scores since it seems that Bueckers has focussed on getting them involved and they have played/scored much better.
I read that only one team per conference gets into the states and both these teams are in the Lake conference so this game is huge. Here's a link to the stream I found.

Hopkins vs. Wayzata Girls Basketball - CCX Media

Also on youtube at CCX media - EDIT it may not be on youtube except on replay.

Edit: Both teams will be able to play in the states. That's good seeing how they are 1&2 in Minn.
Hopkins is loaded with talent and size. I think they might be best HS team in the country. I see several players in the game who could play for Uconn at the next level.

The SJC Cadets beat Good Counsel by 65-41. They advance and play Bishop Ireton tomorrow. Unofficially, I had Azzi with 20 points, 16 in the first half on 6-7 shooting. She was 3-3 from the arc. She had 3 blocks.

I’m sticking around to watch McNamara. They have the #17 player in 2019 (headed to NC State) and #20 player in 2020. They look BIG.

More later.

In a later game today, Bishop McNamara positively killed Archbishop Carroll. The final was 72-27, but the halftime score was 40-6. McNamara started the game on a 20-point run. They have the #17 recruit (in 2019 headed to N.C. State), an unranked recruit headed to Mississippi State, and the #20 player from 2020. They are big, athletic, and aggressive. They play Paul VI (Ashley Owusu) tomorrow. The likely final on Monday will be between two of the top-6 teams in the nation. It will take a big effort from Azzi and her teammates to beat McNamara for the third time this season.

The Washington Post has her with 18 points. 4 twos, 3 threes, and a free throw.
