This pretty harsh. Beaudry, in his first season, led UWF to the Division 2 championship game in UWF's 2nd season as a football program. So, he was a redshirt freshman on a team that was playing it's second season of football and he lead them to the D2 championship game. I think that is pretty impressive.
His stats? 3215 yards, 29 TDs, 13 int, 55.1% completion rate. In his first 5 games, he completed 50% of his passes, so his completion percentage improved as his first season progressed. I think that is a pretty good freshman season.
Also, UWF's conference is no joke. Valdosta St. won the Div 2 championship in 2018, UWF was runner up in 2017, and North Alabama was runner up in 2016.
