Seriously though, its been a while since we have had a meaningful WO success story (ie actually make a substantive contribution as a starter). I still believe in them, just not enough to think any WO's can make the 2019 season better. Randy's future WO development success stories probably wont be written until 2020 and 2021.

Am I giving him too much credit, or didn't Mason Donaldson play well two years ago? Was it a fluke and we had better receivers than him last year?

I like Donaldson. I don’t think you overthink that. Might just be a Pindell thing & routes. (I liked Shaun Feldheisen too)

I thought someone would bring up Donaldson. Here's the thing, having one great game is not enough to move the needle - especially on a team that has been winning. When I think of substantive WO success story I want to talk about guys that start multiple games all season or play bountiful minutes as a productive back up. Donaldson hasn't really done that yet. He had one great game.

Now - 2019 is a whole new season, maybe Donaldson delivers a big season with production in multiple games. And production in games we actually win and at key moments.

I'm a Donaldson fan, but lets see the next step.

UConn's Edsall not worried about recent departures


“We’re still trying. I’ve got three more guys coming into today. We’ve got five coming in this weekend. We’ve had a lot of official visits,” Edsall said. “June’s a busier month than it’s ever been with the recruiting changes.”

“It’s been good. I’ve been very pleased with what’s taken place. Since January it’s been a total change. And it keeps getting better and better,” Edsall said.

“You see things coming together,” Edsall said. “You see the guys developing the chemistry and the culture you need to give yourself an opportunity to win.”

The three on thursday were perhaps Harrell (2019), Young (2019) and Schuler (2020) and the five this weekend??

'99 percent chance' Boise State QB transfer Kaiden Bennett coming to Nevada

Haven't seen anything on him... I actually looked a while ago when his name came up in site search for something else. He seemingly cleaned up his old Twitter and removed all the mental health/hospital admission stuff. I even checked to see if he might have a new Twitter account.
