one possible correction....if I'm not mistaken, SB's boyfriend (younger brother of NY Jets backup quarter back Christian Hackenberg) is going to play baseball for Clemson next year.....who knows, she might want to stay in the South to be close to family and friends but only time will tell...
Yeah, it almost looks like she wants to stay in the South, but fortunately plans to continue flirting with ND & UConn. Hopefully, with enough flirting, she'll come to her senses and realize the big difference in coaching/programs between ND & UConn and everyone else on her list.

Already corrected.

So, I'll no longer put in posts based on "casual reading" because I have fellow readers who are casual as some of my Jesuit professors. ;)

- So, if Sam's boyfriend/beau is going to Clemson, could he have been recruited by NC State at one point? And, if not, what is the possible connection.
- And thanks to UConn Cat for all the various Kevin Bacon/Sam Brunelle connections between Virginia and Wake, but I just read something in a local Va. paper and "swear by every word," to paraphrase Steely Dan.

Amazing how many of her shots never touch the rim-she good!
I think that 3 or 4 of her treys grazed the rim. In contrast, a lot of Kia's shots rattle around before going down.

When I saw Azzi in person against Seton, she was 4-4 on FTs. None of them hit the rim. She's the best shooter I've seen since Kaleena.

Thanks for that....and I really mean it. Love to hear about different locales, In our "drop in, fly out" world, it's good to have context.:)

Unfortunately, I'm not as clever as I think I am. Another poster pointed out there is an airport in Wenatchee, a short drive away from Cashmere. And apparently Horizon/Alaska Airlines operates a shuttle between SeaTac and Wenatchee. I had no idea, and I'm a local.

Azzi's team edged a solid Bishop McNamara team by 7. She had almost half of her team's 60 points.

Brunelle looks more like a power forward then a wing, should she pick Uconn, she will probably be a 3 year starter at the 4.

Per Steve Blacklege @blackiepreps tweet Uconn assistant coach scouting Jordan Horston

Interesting and a bit odd to me. Watching her with the U16 team she struck me as a playmaker without a true position even though she's considered a guard. She's ranked 3rd, 5th, and 6th.

This is surprising to me. I wasn't overly impressed during the U16 games with her game but Im no coach so it shows what i know...Nothing! However that is just a snapshot of time.

I wouldn't go by what we saw at U16 from any of the players. Always though UCONN would look to bring in a PG in 2019 class to overlap Dangerfield. We know that Cooke is out of the mix. Might come down to how well can Horston play the point, she was nowhere near the Point for USA basketball. Don't forget that Charisma Osborne was looked at when UCONN was on the west coast swing early in the season also. And don't also forget that cooke said UCONN was "full". UCONN is getting a 2019 PG IMO and Horston or Osborne would work just fine.
