I sense this new staff is changing the way these kids in our backyard (CT) view UConn. The CulTure here is changing and they sense it. Three out of the 4 commits are from CT. That's a big deal! I believe this staff is focusing hard on CT kids staying home and me like.

Interview: Maryland DB Ryan Carroll received a #UConn offer after camping this past weekend

After that it came down to the drills while I was doing the drills the CB coach Cox he moved me into an elite group you can say. "He kept his eyes on me ever since then especially in 1-on-1s. I caught an interception in the 1-on-1 and another in 7v7. After the camp they took me to meet the head coach and he pulled that trigger and offered me a full scholarship.”

The class of 2018 DB target appreciated UConn's history of putting defensive backs in the NFL as well as the academic opportunities. "It felt great because all my hard work paid off and it definitely was a confidence builder. I like the DB background they have. In the past couple of years they've had some freaks come out of UConn. I feel like I could be one of those guys especially with my long frame.<<

Sterling Santana is a MLB prospect out of a community college in AZ coming in for a visit this week per his own twitter account. I can't tell what year he is in, but could this be someone that is eligible to come in as part of the 2017 class? If so, that would be huge considering our suddenly thin LB group (due to the loss of Levenberry and Nazir Williams).

According to 247 sports he was an Arizona State commit that was grey shirted a couple seasons ago.

Something tells me we r probably recruiting him for 2017. Another kid I saw us possibly linked to is LB Josh Amando out of GA

Coming in as part of 2017 would be fantastic. Off the top of my head as of now we have just Joseph, Diggs, Britton, Gilmartin, Stapleton and just one or two others for this fall and TJ Gardner as a true frosh.

It's time to start monitoring the twitter activity like we did last January. On Edsall's latest tweet yesterday many prospects retweeted. Of the notable retweeters were Pachero, Keys, Webb, Eddie Wilson a good looking NJ dt and an interesting MLB product at a CC in MN named Perce.

Willem Froumy is a 6-6 285lb OL/DL from Exeter High School in Exeter New Hampshire. Currently holds offers from Bryant, Maine, UMass, University of New Hampshire and Syracuse.
