Not Soft. They play hard. just some players we thought would help aren’t helping. Talking to you Ross and Stewart

He is playing hurt and has not been able to practice.Alex was not good tonight and hasn't been for the last few games
You literally have nothing to say this is true. Who were these freshmen he instantly benched for making mistakes. It’s crazy that you say stuff like this. It’s honestly hilarious. Just say you were 12 when Calhoun retired and everything you know about that era you read on the internet. I mean this stuff is nuts. Enjoy yourself guy. I’m not into it.
That was a replay of the recent time he had the open drive to the basket and just stopped and jacked a brick. The only difference is that this time he did not jack the brick. He really brings nothing to the court.I don't blame him for the shot clock violation, but he should never have been in the game in that situation. But we all saw what we all knew about this team-UConn has no one that can create off of the bounce besides Diarra or McNeeley The plays are designed to get someone open, but when the play breaks down (Mahaney denied ball) you need a person that can ad lib and create
Solo had at least two in and out 3's and someone else had at least one. Game of inches. Very happy with the hustle effort. Samson growing. This upcoming stretch of games will test their character. Give it all you got guys. When Liam returns he'll have have a tougher team to play with. Not giving up in a tough road game is something to build on. Hoping Samson, Solo and Mahaney continue to grow in confidence and effort like tonight.I mean, it’s kind of amazing it was even close considering AK, Stewart, Reed, Ross and even Nowell in his limited time were all awful and Ball went a bit cold in the 2nd.
I get that the last look for Ross was bad but literally 15 seconds earlier he drew up a play to get our best shooter a wide open corner 3Probably should’ve been blown out but kept fighting back. Maybe the worst Karaban performance of the year. Has Hurley drawn up a good end of game play this year? Somehow always develops into a Diarra panic play.
Moral victories and UConn? No thanks a bad loss again is all it is. We’re starting to stare at the 8-9 game and if we don’t find answers the bubble awaits.I thought this was a great game for us. I know people are complaining, but we almost won. Off night from Solo and AK. With Liam we win easily. As usual the refs were against us pretty clearly especially once we got to the second half. A call or two made fairly and we win. I think it was very encouraging to see Aiden emerge. If we can rely on him to play like this the rest of the way, we will be so much more dangerous. Overall a positive outcome in a tough road game with the refs stacked against us per usual. Can’t complain.
Understood. Just saying last possession you need scoring options. You aren’t typically going to put someone in cold at that point, unless you have to (people fouled out, etc.).
I know you were. I was supporting your argument.I was blasting Jaylin, not Ross. I think Ross is infinitely better defensively than Stew. Argument could be made Ross defense won is the Gonzaga game.
“Fix was on with 15-16 minutes left in second half when 4 calls in a row made against UCONN”Fix was on with 15-16 minutes left in second half when 4 calls in a row made against UCONN. Then a few more questionable ones in the last ten minutes including two awful calls against Mahaney.
We also don’t have the margin right now for Alex to be off all game and Solo off in the second half.
Players fought hard.
Samson was great all game. Solo phenomenal in first half. Mahaney very solid. Very good game from Diarra as well
Not sure what game you watched. Ross gets blown by time and time again, then tries to block shot from behind. That’s his defense. Above average defender, no wayHe's an above-average athlete and defender who's most effective offensively in transition. He gives you nothing in the half-court, which he doesn't have to.
Played far better than Stewart today, was excellent on Conwell the entire game.
Why not try Abraham?? Ross is a net negative. Can Abraham be that much worse? If he is, than yank him too. But why continue to give minutes to a guy who has PROVEN he is worthless over another guy, similarly ranked by the “experts”, who hasn’t had a chance to show anything yet. What are the other options? And don’t say double bigs or Abraham.
The carry was on SoloMahaney did give them a lift. That was nice to see. But on the negative side all 3 of those turnovers were brutal. How many times do you see a carry called these days?
Lol it was literally Hurley's chosen inspirational catchphrase for this seasonIdk, winning back to back titles seems like a dynasty to me
Or as close as you get in the past few decades.Idk, winning back to back titles seems like a dynasty to me
Seriously, though… did you watch the JC era? Unless your name was Khalid or Caron, you pretty much had the worlds shortest leash. You literally have nothing to say this is true. Who were these freshmen he instantly benched for making mistakes.
Just cause you say something clever and are condescending doesn’t make you right. With how your replies to my post age I’m shocked you keep setting yourself up to look stupid like this.
I would base it on the fact he couldn’t play worse than Stewart or RossAnd you base this on what? The “play Nowell “ contingent is awfully silent now, too.
That's the reality now. This is big business and the kids are professionals. Teams have to be upgrading if they want to remain at the top, look at what we did before the back to back.If we're serious about building a "dynasty", gotta be cutthroat. Can't have 2/3rds of the team be development pieces.
Not speculation, Trilly explicitly said the name. That said I put zero stock into the rumorIt was a random rumor that we would have a transfer and people speculated it was Abraham.
Not enough for what exactly? Certainly enough talent to beat Xavier. Not enough talent on this team.
