This is like when people tired to say Craig tripped over middlebrooks in the 2013 series when the video showed he was tripping himself.

Roberts absolutely sucks, he's blown every game in the series going to Madson. Two straight games he takes out his starter in the 7th who have a 2 hitter and 1 hitter. You have to try really hard to suck that much as a manager.

Key part:
  1. A throw must be made. If the catcher, for example, comes up with a bunted ball and sets up to throw to first, but then stops and doesn't throw because the runner (in his view) is in the way, you cannot have interference.
  2. The throw must be a catchable throw. Using the same example, if the catcher comes up with a bunted ball and then throws wild to first base because (in his view) the runner was in the way, you cannot have interference.
  3. Note the language of the rule: "… interferes with the fielder taking the throw at first base." Points #3 and #4, above, rest on this most important point: that is, if there is interference, the interference is on the fielder receiving the ball at first base and not on the fielder throwing the ball from the vicinity of home plate. This is very important when applying the rule. You're going to get managers arguing that the runner caused a fielder to throw wild, or not throw at all, but these are not valid arguments.

Does he have pictures of Dave Roberts with a donkey? Why does Roberts keep letting him blow games?
 
Madson has inherited 7 runners in WS play. All 7 have scored.

OTOH, LAD is 54-0 when leading by 4 or more runs this season.

I'd almost be willing to give Felipe Vazquez and Keone Kela to the Dodgers for nothing just to not watch this godawful Madson/Jansen duo ever again.
