Offense is still MIA as of 4th inning. What's going on?

He didn't want to be on the bases.

That’s not an excuse to walk your team out of a big inning

These YouTube TV ads are terrible and completely take away from feel of the game. Baseball was one of the few sports that isn't plagued by constant stoppages, and now in between at bats they are airing commercials? Come on.

Probably they told him not to injure himself running .. He had ankle problems ...injuries

No matter how much I want to dog ERod for that attempt at baserunning, he is more valuable soaking up innings.

Equivalency of a back up QB taking a dive when pressured because there isn't anyone else to take snaps.

.-.
Eddy should be in the dugout.

If Nunez can’t get in front of that 3 hopper he needs to not be on the field

That’s interference.

Berlinger is clearly in fair territory

Eddy just got cheated by his own teammates and the umpires.

If Nunez can’t get to that grounder he’s too hurt to play.

The umps not missing an obvious interference call just cost Boston 4 runs

That’s infuriating! Cora has had a really bad two games. You’ve got righties warmed up 3rd time through the lineup. Because of how well he was throwing, I could see leaving ERod in to pitch to Turner, but the Puig move was awful, with a predictable result.

The bigger mistake was having Nunez in the field.

There are hs infielders who get a double play out of that slow roller by turner

.-.
Should have turned the double play. The HR is on Cora. He uses the analytics too much sometimes and didn’t have a good feel that ERod was done. I would have pulled him before Turner and I said it at the time.

They did turn it. Bellinger interfered.

Mlb should be ashamed they missed it

There is no way the Dodgers can think of going to Madson right after your lineup got a 4-0 lead why give the Sox lineup any hope.

That isn't happening is it? Rich Hill has to come back out.

82 pitches, 1 hit... it would be borderline insane to remove him.

thankfully, he's starting the 7th. Although I wasn't paying attention before - has he been doing a Monica Seles impersonation all game with the grunting?

That's not interference, he's inside the running lane but barely. You might also notice the base is inside of the lane as well

Yes it is.

Even with the blown call, Not surprised that terrible defense at 2nd and 3b will cost the Sox 2 different ws games. It’s been awful both places for a large portion of the year

.-.
Lefty relievers who only have one job to do and can't do it are useless.

This is what you get when you take out your starter who still has a 1 hitter and a fairly low pitch count. Think I like my chances more with Hill and 1 out and a guy on first than Madson with 1 out and 2 guys on.

YES you are wrong- runner was legally in the running lane.

No he wasn’t. He was in fair territory
