Lavender leading the way w/ 12 points on 6-7 shooting.
Game changed with the so called foul on Stewie. She looked at the referee like Ok.
Then she hit 2 three's rebounded blocked shots, made assists.

Storm have picked up Kaela Davis as well. I'm sure she and Williams will both be cut once the regulars return from safety protocols. This year might set a record for number of players signed to short term contracts.

LA whoopin' Minnesota. Looks like Canada is out, but there has been a rare Chiney sighting. That's gonna eat into ONO's minutes.

Is it ever going to come together for Ionescu? All kinds of ankle issues slowed her down for parts of 2 seasons. She has flashes of brilliance, but she seems to struggle quite a bit as often as not. Early on seemed like she was headed to super stardom, but that looks kinda doubtful now.

edit--not saying she'll wash out of the league or anything, her career stats are decent but not eye popping

Liv's 3 fouls in 4 minutes is not helping either.

Evina had a nice game, both started and finished the game. Looks like they are using her for some good defense as well as ball handling. She drove to the hoop a couple times and made her shots, even one over Cambage. They could have won this one, but Minnesota blew the last play. Actually there was no play, or didn’t appear to be. Close though. Evina would help this team with more minutes if she gets in with those players willing to pass the ball a bit more.

Good question.

Read an opinion on Twitter that she may be better as a SG versus a point guard. Not sure if that's a valid assessment. I didn't think her role is to be a PG but I haven't watched many of their games this season.

Sooo…. Rae Burrell under went knee surgery… ummm why didn’t she do it during her college career?? Is this the same reason why E didn’t??
Sorry to hear that, but I’m sending her best wishes for a safe healing.

Watching the game now. I think Liv was just getting the rookie treatment on two of those fouls. Because if you look at the game, the way some of the players, especially Fowles and Cambage, were pushing, holding, and bumping into each other and the refs were barely calling those fouls. I just think Liv was getting the rookie treatment.

The New York Liberty just can't get things figured out. Lost seven in a row.

Taurasi w/ a double tech and got ejected. She earned it. As Ron White said, she had the right to remain silent, but not the ability.

Just as I was about to say the Mercury are making smart choices on their shooting, someone jacked up a shot from deep and missed. Mercury was up six points now down one; 66-67

Wow. Phoenix just gave the game away.
Not yet. Missed FT by Sky.

But Deshields had a pretty clean 3 from the corner to tie but pumped herself into a poor look. Bleech

Forgive me if others have pointed this out, but Jasmine Lister seems to be among the Phoenix coaching staff. At least she or her doppleganger is on their bench.

On their website they have an assistant coach listed as TBA.

She should've gotten tossed earlier.

Merc dominated Q3, but Sky returned the favor in Q4 to pull out a close win.
