I kind of agree. I believe that we need two more wins to lock up a bid but in all candor, shy of getting the automatic bis by winning the tournament, I won't feel comfortable about getting in.Today becomes a must win. 1-1 from here is iffy. Get to the finals and I’m confident
Hah, nobody believed you when you said you might not be posting updates. We're the lucky beneficiaries of your addiction.About 12:45am in Italy, and about to fall asleep. Thx for all posts on game, greatly appreciated. I thought it was a must win today, and we got the job done. With 1 more win, I believe we would be in. But still would be a bit nervous.
Let’s get in done!!

Based on everything I've heard from Kendrall Rogers, AaronFitt, et al, this ^^^ is 100% spot on. It is essentially a play-in game -- wouldn't be surprised if we had some guys going on crazy short rest.Feels like today is essentially an NCAA tournament play-in game.
The winner of UConn-Xavier is in and the loser is looking at a long Selection Monday with a likely disappointing outcome.
While the goal is obviously a BE Championship, I wonder if Penders will play take it as an all or nothing game and go all-in with the pitching and hold nothing back for a potential BE Finals given the situation.
I don’t think Creighton is safe at all. They only have 1 Q1 win all season (Xavier yesterday), their SOS is pretty bad and their RPI is still only borderline for an at large. I think it is still very possible that the Big East goes 1 bid if Xavier or UConn winsAbsent a lot of help elsewhere, this is absolutely a play-in game. Creighton as complex champs and in the final is in. Second spot goes to today's winner. There will not be a third Big East team going. Both may even need to win today and the first game tomorrow to feel safe.

You cracked me up with the above post!!! The chart is updated. For all you do for the Boneyard, how can I not post an update.Giussippe - aggiornare il grafico grazie![]()

Toughen up. I’m trying to follow this week on an Alaskan cruise with a four hour time difference, no cell service for days and only a totally inadequate text only cruise ship satellite internet. You cracked me up with the above post!!! The chart is updated. For all you do for the Boneyard, how can I not post an update.
PS. My wife thinks I’m nuts, laying in bed in Italy updated the baseball chart.
Based on that, I don’t think we’re that close to being left out. A strong case can be made, and was last year, that our RPI underrates us because of how long we have to go before we get any home games. Said another way, while the computer rewards us for playing all our competitive OOC games on the road the first half of the season, it doesn’t take into account the extra burden we carry of barely being home the first two months.Last 4 In - Current RPI
