I agree but if you're Diaco, you're thinking you may never coach this kid otherwise. Now I believe Diaco is coming back no matter what, but if the kid gets hurt next fall camp its Shirreffs by default.

Throwing a Freshman in against a strong defense with a banged up sub-par OL is usually not going to give you the best chance to win or even benefit the young man very much from a development standpoint. I don't like it for many reasons but especially the timing of it.
