Chief00 would be a good fit
Almost got Indiana tooApparently he really wanted to Wisconsin job.
Coming from a friend of mine who is/was the President of their hoops boosters club. So take that for what it is.
I dunno if we'd get him from Virginia.
This seems more logical than Stairmaster's histrionics.Have heard in the past that Hurley wants the UConn job and there is the UConn connection now with Tom Moore on the URI staff.

Now you're just fishing.Ray Allen
Pass on Calhoun.
Get someone with an offensive playbook, a team that rebounds and hits the deck. Then interview some former players to make sure he's not a snake. Then hire him
If Hurley wants the job and Benedict has 4+ months to figure out how to make it work financially, then someone should update Hurley's wiki page to "UConn Coach-in-waiting" tonight.Have heard in the past that Hurley wants the UConn job and there is the UConn connection now with Tom Moore on the URI staff.
No. Also I wouldn't want it.Gun to your head - does Calhoun coach at Uconn again?
He's to old. What about Larry Davis at Cincinnati? Led UC to a a tournament when Cronin was dealing with his medical condition, was a head coach at Furman for 10 years before becoming an assistant at Cincinnati.
Anthony grant still available? Can we pull Danny manning out of wake despite his extension? Remember Shaka? Got Bamba?Absolutely not. No more family nonsense, we need a proven coach.

As you probably know that works for some players, not for others. But I get it a motivator.I want someone who will be a father figure, not a friend. Someone who will drop f bombs right in all their faces relentlessly and rip them a new one after yanking them.
Gregg Marshall or Will Wade would be a dream.

Since you asked.....
In all seriousness you guys are experiencing the problems that come with hiring a former legend to run the team. Great players don't necessarily make great coaches and if it isn't working out firing the coach can be problematic.
Dan Hurley played for Blaney at Seton Hall, so theres another small indirect UConn connection.Have heard in the past that Hurley wants the UConn job and there is the UConn connection now with Tom Moore on the URI staff.
