When do we see Bouk back?

Well seeing that he was dribbling the ball around and putting up a few shots in pre game warm ups last week, I think mid February seems reasonable. I feel like people are freaking out for no reason.

I prefer the glass half full option, and I think we have an outside chance at seeing him suit up for seton Hall on February 6th.

Bro you’re making yourself a real easy target for freezing cold takes... there’s 2-3 months of basketball left and we’re 1-3 weeks from seeing him back.
Thanks, bro.

Why do people get personally offended by pessimistic takes? He will turn out to be right or wrong, but the result will have had nothing to do with his prediction. I think people who jump down the throat of posters who express pessimistic predictions seem somewhat scared and unstable.
A poster said in a thread a while back that his friend was on FaceTime with James and James said he would be back at least before March Madness

.-.
He is dribbling and shooting in pre game but Dan Hurley has no clue and won’t even comment on his return when asked....

Hmmmm.....

Last we heard was 4-6 weeks from surgery. The latest press conference with Hurley he didn’t give any more updates. Also him dribbling is no surprise. After a surgery removing bone spurs you don’t have any pain but the area is weak requiring rehab.

I have to say the 20 min thing is my least favorite meme of all time. It is boring please stop.
Not original not funny. When is Bouk back? 20 min. When is our next game? 20 Min.When will Sandogo pick up on the defense? 20 Min. Can Polley hit 20 threes? Probably if he had 20 mins. I can't remember who the originator of this was. Probably funny when he said it, but now I would like to strangle him for 20 minutes.

James wrote a touching post on Instragram about Akok when he got injuried. This is the James Bouknight Chief knows. Sometimes the young guns think they need to listen to advisers, that’s fine and no disrespect. But, the best way for young guns to make your case is to play it. That will get you a high pick into The League. FACTS.

Beautiful sentiment, Chief.
Love the way you have James's back.
Only through adversity do we discover who we are.
Wishing James the best on his recovery.
Hope he's back soon.
And this team makes a serious
Run through the NCAA tournament.
Damn that would be great.

The doctors probably already cleared him.

His “advisors” have put him on the shelf.

Shows a lot about his character. Lets not forget the game he was injured he was running down the court with his arm up after every basket he scored to make sure he got credit. And if you watched a replay when we were down he has a miserable look on his face.
I think he just wants out and to collect his $$$.

If I am wrong I will be extremely happy.
Interesting that you say he was raising his hand after every basket he scored yet he never scored again in that game after the injury.

Why because I am looking at it from another angle with my blue colored glasses off..

Time will tell.
This is even less believable than your initial post. I believe that you intended to provoke and antagonize others for no positive purpose. I disbelieve your claim that you would be extremely happy to be wrong in your speculative assertions.

Your analysis is weak, and the conclusions you've drawn are unpersuasive. The implication that you are innocently offering an alternative view that arises from taking off blue colored glasses rings hollow.

In the spirit of open-mindedness, I allow that you might be fully sincere. If that's the case, I regard your perceptions as inaccurate, and further that your overblown and negative characterizations represent a disservice to those reading them, except insofar as they may unite the fanbase in support of James Bouknight.

Oh so someone has a different opinion so you want to censor their post?

Nice....
This strikes me as an immature understanding of censorship, and a weak application of sarcasm. I don't know whether you offer these because you are being dishonest or dumb. Neither leaves a favorable impression. One is more deserving of compassion than contempt.

Calm down, folks. In fact nobody knows what Bouknight is going to do. Someone posted on another thread that his “advisors” were indeed telling him just exactly that. Sit to protect his draft status. I have no idea if that is true or false but it is already out there and Captbluefin’s post just takes it to a logical conclusion.

And all this crap about band of brothers and such is kind of a lot of nonsense, too. These guys aren’t preparing to battle an overwhelming French force at Agincourt, for heavens sake. They are getting ready to play 5 on 5 against Providence College. I’m sure they like each other. Some are friends, some merely get along. They all want to win but you guys really have no concept of team relationships. 25 years ago it was a business. Today players are essentially free agents. Ask Tyrese and Cole how committed they were to there previous “band of brothers.”

It wouldn't be so bad if it were used in creative ways like this. Well done!

Serious questions.. Our next scheduled game is when? Sometimes hard to figure out with fluid scheduling this year.
The date of Bouk's surgery was when?

Has anyone heard that the NCAA has considered moving March Madness to dates(ie April) other than currently proposed?

IMO. Bouk/AA will do everything they can to make a run at returning this year if their bodies will let them. Unfinished business. AJax about ready to be turned loose.

Question?

Would a player who listens to “advisers” or even consider their advise to not play even a minute or even one game be considered a player or teammate with good character?
Question:

Should a poster who riddles yet another metaphorical whack at his own piñata with improper punctuation, misspelling, a split infinitive, two forms of "consideration," three instances of the narrowing word "even," and the meaningless choice of "player or teammate" be taken seriously on a suppositional question posed in the passive voice as a conditional question about "character?"

Speaking only for myself, no.

Ok. Here’s the deal with Bouknight:

he wants to play and I have no idea if anyone is advising him to sit but if so he is not listening to that.
He is practicing now, just not full contact. He wants to be back for the seton hall game but Hurley is intent on him having a few full contact practices first. Like it or not, Hurley doesn’t want to play anyone if they don’t have a few real practices first. Expect him back for Providence game.

Source? If that’s true that’s great news

Fantastic if your source is right - and that would be just over 4 weeks, which is the timetable we’ve heard all along. Nice to finally receive some real information on this topic.

Awesome news. Thanks for posting.

I'm surprised it's Hurley's call to sit him longer, based on the tone of his comment the other day; but very good news if it is.
