What are you binge watching?

The path to victory is clear.

1.Crash out in front of the borg so that they do their nervous breakdown until they are all dead.

2. Repopulate.
Yeah, but killing all the people and choosing to make among the few remaining people of childbearing age is not a great strategy. There's a path we don't see yet and I think she's exploring it as best she can. How do you disrupt the hive?

I agree for all those reasons. Plus it’s fun to play “whose voice is that?”. Matthew Rhys as Thomas Paine and Brolin as GW, perfect. Mandy Patankin as Franklin and Claire Danes as Abigail Adams, well cast plus you get Homeland vibes.

The cool thing about the treatment of George Washington is that they are honestly pointing out that strategically and tactically he wasn’t really exceptional or even good, it was his demeanor and character that carried the day. Whereas Benedict Arnold was tactically gifted and…
Yep, also heard Tom Hanks and Paul Giamatti. Did not realize it was Mandy Patinkin as Franklin or Claire Danes Abigail Adams.

I haven’t seen this yet but I would think Mandy would be easy to recognize. Pretty distinctive voice to my ears.

You give them ridiculous tasks to perform. “Build me 50 miles of Egyptian Pyramids outside of Las Vegas and on every continent including Antarctica”.

Also make sure they all have nervous breakdowns.

I'm sure I'll hear it when I listen to it next, but it's not like he's saying "You killed my father, prepare to die."

Known more for Evita, but he crushes this.

Surprisingly, Ben Franklin does very little singing in the Ken Burns documentary.

I wouldn’t recognize him signing anyway. I remember him from “Chicago Hope” and “Homeland”

He sings in the movie 1776 (and the play)

Just started watching today. I nodded off a couple times in Ep2. But I'm enjoying Craig Ferguson as everyone with a Scots accent.

I thought it was really boring after the first episode. I was wondering what everyone was raving about.

I’m a history nerd too.

Did you bail after the one episode? If it were a 8-10 episode season, I probably would've rated it a 6 of 10. But it wasn't that. It was four, one hour episodes. They nailed the era too. The cinematography & wardrobe dept will probably win awards.

I mean, to each their own, but that was fun.

No. I watched the whole thing. It was kinda boring.

The American Revolution Ep. 5: Damn, how many times has South Carolina straight betrayed America? I count at least twice.

Yeah. 2 hour episodes are a bit much.
I watch as much as I feel like watching and then stop and come back to them.

Pluribus. This show is captivating.

Soylent Green is People. When the Hive was actively rounding up dead bodies in trucks in episode one, I was highly suspicious. Then they mostly let it go, but now I see I was right.

The American Revolution. Turns out I know a lot more about the revolution than I thought I would. Almost none of it was new to me except some of the personal stories. I did enjoy it.

I'm starting to watch Minx which has some excellent nudity. What's really amazing about the time is how pornography sort of became mainstream in America. It is a bit silly but it is cast very well and the episodes are very short and digestible.

I'd never heard of this, but decided to watch an episode. It's pretty good. It is a good cast even though I've never heard of any of them except Perkins.
