Week Two: Interesting Games

Purdue over Texas A&M by 14.

Penn St. beat St. John's and off to a 4-0 start.

Green Bay about to take out #22 Creighton on the road.

Duke on life support under a minute left against Davidson. Davidson really are a middle of the pack team at least in the ACC this year, if only they were in the ACC.

That's what I get for waiting for the end of the game before dinner.... now I don't even have an appetite. The last time that team beat Duke , I was causing havoc in kindergarten :(

There are so many players who have transferred out of Arizona, it's hard to keep track of them all. Gisela Sanchez is at K State. She redshirted last season. Giving them some decent minutes off the bench tonight. She came in...and left...at the same time as Vonleh.

Arizona St. overcame a double digit deficit, came back to tie it w/ about 30 seconds left...and then lost by 3. To Grambling. Who was blown out twice previously, only win is against one of those made up sounding schools. That is a BAD loss. I guess the shine is starting to come off the Pac 12 a bit.

Iowa has fallen apart. They were up 5 or 6 w/ 3 minutes left and have done nothing since. Clark has had at least 4 shots that didn't even come remotely close to going in, really poor shot selection.

Oregon has their hands full w/ Grand Canyon. Not an impressive night for the Pac. Although Stanford is brutalizing Cal Poly. Went from all knotted up at 8 in the middle of Q1 to 53-15 at halftime.

For the second straight week, the #2 team lost to an unranked team. KState finishes on a big run to win by 7 at Iowa. Caitlin missed 23 shots, including the last several attempts.

Rice was up big on Georgia Tech at the half, but a 47-30 2nd half led GT to a 3 point win.
