Week 16 - Feb 19 to 25 (games, conf standings, NET)

Whoa, Washington is gonna win a game! Ducks will not be denied finishing in the cellar. Nobody would've called this--17 points on 8-8 shooting from Anderson and Long off the bench.

Will this be a bad loss for Stanford, if Arizona holds on?

Well, can we conclude that Brink is way more indispensable to Stanford than Beers is to Oregon St.?

Stanford seeing how tough it is with your star. We know that well. I love the PAC 12. They've been beating each other up all year. Wouldn't want to play any of them in the Tourney.

Arizona at Cal on Sunday might decide 7th/8th place in the final standings. Both trying to creep up to .500.

Couple big games that potentially will decide conference championships on Saturday:

In the MAC Ball St. @ Toledo, tied for the conference lead at 12-1.

In the Ivy, 10-0 Princeton @ 9-1 Columbia.

What a bad team. Ducks are pretty much finished - dead and buried in the Graves yard. His days are numbered.

With Stanford's loss to AZ tonight, the Stanford at Oregon state game once looms large as a way for the Beavers to earn a co-championship with the Cardinal or the real possibiltiiy of a 3 team championship if USC wins out.

Go Toledo, Go Columbia

l don' t think it's a reach for me to say that there is a strong possibility the Stanford at Oregon State game will determine if Stanford stands alone as P-12 champs, or if there is a 2-team or 3-team shared conference title. You can quote me on this. If Beers returns at full strengh, there is no way Oregon States loses to either Washington or Cal (unfortunately it looks like she may miss the Washington game this Sunday).

Never count your chickens before they hatch! I had a bad feeling when the Stanford fan board was down all day, then no Brink. Then at least three times the ball slipped out of Stanford’s hands like it was wet or something, and Arizona sunk 2 bank shot threes in the last quarter.

Brink having an off game causing Stanford to lose is why I had Stanford picked as an Elite 8 team. I hope they prove me wrong.

I was looking at Stanford’s sked and they really have benefited from a very easy PAC run.

Wins
14 Ind, Duke (ot), @18 Ut, 9 OreSt, 12 UCLA (wo Betts)

Losses
@16 Gonz, @11 Col, 7 USC, Ariz

Plus
OT win @ Wash

Wowser! Woke up to some surprises. Knew that Brink was out before I went to sleep, however didn't expect to see that score. USC is on a tear and Colorado not so much. Spots #2-6 still up for grabs with the teams last three games as follows:

For today, we have a B12 battle between the #4 & 5 spots. Princeton & Columbia to fight for the #1 spot. Creighton & Nova fighting for the 2nd spot, with Nova still having to play UConn. Note that FOX was added to the Creighton/Nova game after I posted the original grid earlier in the week.

I don't why they would be. Illinois is better than what their season record indicates. Their slow start to the season is the only reason why some may not see them as competitive.
Indiana is still that one team that can, as Iowa found out, still get it done. I would not sleep on them at all.

I saw highlights of that Stanford/Arizona game. How about Arizona!? 7 Strong!

Butler has won 5 games in the Big East? The new dude seems to be slowly building a program. They were absolutely awful a couple of years ago.
