Week 16 - Feb 19 to 25 (games, conf standings, NET)

Another upset brewing in Chattanooga. My Western Carolina Catamounts only trail UT-Chatt 24-19 at the half  UTC is 23-3 and 10-0 in the conference. WCU is 6-20 1-10.

Fairfield in a tight game trying to stay unbeaten in conference.

Drake also in a tight game trying to maintain their lead in the Missouri Valley. Hosting Missouri St. Why do all of their games seem to be against the teams nipping at their heels?

You claim Cullowhee? You’re closer to Blacksburg and Columbia SC!

That's how we roll @Ladeeeeda

Clark with 21/7/4 at the half and it doesn't feel like she's even playing well. Iowa's defense has been atrocious, looks more like shades of last year so far. Indiana tearing them up and Iowa can't get much going offensively outside of Clark (who isn't having a great shooting night) and getting some fortuitous reffing calls.

I think Iowa's season hinges on Gabbie Marshall's ability to knock down shots. When she isn't hitting shots, she offers such little value to the team IMO. She's a decent defender (she's pesky and plays hard) but is so incapable on offense. She can't make an entry pass, can't take a defender off the dribble or score in a fashion other than catch and shoot, and even while taking wide open 3s she's only shooting 32% this year. She can be a huge weapon which she proved last year but just has not been a good contributor to Iowa this year.

Fairfield won Siena, 71 - 67.

Drake pulled away to win as well. They're a fun team to watch. Dinnebier, Berg and Miller are a nice trio of players.

Lopes are finally pulling away from Tarleton. Great defense but Molly Miller's squad is really struggling offensively. If they don't get the O sorted they have no hope in the final game of the regular season or the tournament against the Lancers.

Whoa! Total meltdown by Mississippi St. in the 4th quarter, outscored 24-5 by Kentucky and down 10 now w/ 20 seconds left.
Elzy s seat getting cooler by the week. 4th conference win and 2 games out of last

I cannot describe how disappointed I am in NC State tonight. UNC down 5 players due to injury...and they just outhustled NC State in all facets except FT shooting. A lot at stake in this one and a bad time for a loss, especially with Syracuse losing. Going 3 of 21 in the 2nd quarter was a killer...but the real dagger was letting Donarski and Zalaya be wide open for THREE after THREE after THREE.

Pili just got her 2000th career point, but UCLA is killing Utah.

They said Pili is maybe 5-11. Does she actually have a future in the WNBA? You can get away w/ being an undersized post in college, but that rarely works as a pro. Or does she have the skills to be a really big wing/2 guard?

UNC finally got a huge game from Donarski. Tar Heels pretty much controlled this game throughout. Aziaha James had a big game but no one else for NCS did. Rivers and Baldwin combined for 6 of 22.

Give the powder blues the series decision on point differential.
