Week 16 - Feb 19 to 25 (games, conf standings, NET)

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually happy that Indiana crushed Iowa, and this is coming from a Purdue loyalist. Iowa has only one player and if you harass her enough and keep her from scoring while forcing the others to score you should win. Nika did this last year when they played in Oregon, she got Clark off her game and UConn forced them to try to win with the other players, which didn't happen.

Now, this doesn't make any sense.

Indiana dropped two places in the NET rankings, despite beating Iowa, which dropped one place.

Oh...d'oh...I forgot they played earlier in the week; the NET change is since Sunday.

I was hoping Arkansas could knock Texas A&M off the bubble, but they surrendered a lead and didn't get it done. Darn you Mike Neighbors!
I was thinking Arkansas was going to win this one. Nope. Coach Neighbors just not getting his team to play as a unit. They have some decent players, but they lack that cohesiveness. That 2nd half did Arkansas in. Up next, Vandy.

Good point. I forgot about that loss to Illinois. Indiana probably still confused about that loss.
I don't why they would be. Illinois is better than what their season record indicates. Their slow start to the season is the only reason why some may not see them as competitive.

Only 3 of their 12 losses are to teams that have a NET ranking of 13 or better, the other 9 are outside the top 25. They are #30 Nebraska, #32 Maryland (2), #33 Marquette, #48 Michigan, #63 Arkansas, #76 Purdue, #78 Missouri and #110 Wisconsin.

How does that relate to the post I was replying to? They talked about Indiana being confused about their loss to Illinois.

Brink's nowhere to be found at the Stanford game, and our fan board has been down all day. Anyone watching on TV know what happened to her?

Colorado shot 73% in the first half; USC shot 60%...and the two teams combined to go 15 of 18 from THREE.

Wow! Jalynn Sherrod just took an elbow to the mouth and she's bleeding. Play is stopped to review. And Sherrod was the one called for the foul!

Sounds like Beers didn't travel with Oregon St. this weekend. Took care of Wazzu without her. Not starters in double figures, but the bench came up big as they usually do.
