Buckeyes take 2nd half 49-25Indiana up 10 at half time— finally gonna get their first conference win?
(Kentucky-Tennessee) I watched the first half, I agree. I wanted to watch UConn, but still would have turned this ine off. Not something I would watch for fun.Just an ugly game.
Okay @TheFarmFan , definitive proof that the reverse jinx does not work. Montana St. didn't chip away at the lead at all after my commentary, lost by 19.Let's see if I can work the reverse jinx. Montana St.'s quest to run the table in the Big Sky is in serious jeopardy. Trailing by 19 thru Q3 @ Idaho St.
Every time I srart thinking, why do they go to Chavez, she does something that wows me. Then in OT I quit wondering.Chavez is one of those players who can shoot you out of a game but becomes unguardable when it’s time to close one.
It's not over yet. Oregon St. just blew a 6 point lead in 25 seconds against Gonzaga. How do you foul somebody and give up an and-1 in a situation like that? Then gave up a long 3. And we're going to OT.Overtime games, upsets, crazy comebacks......................Great night for chaos.

East Lansing is -3 tonight and tomorrow gets down to -12. No excuse for Maryland though.Watched both the Maryland and Michigan State games tonight. Really shocking the number of empty seats in the arenas. Neither team could have had any more than 2000 in attendance. I don't care how many tickets were sold.
Iowa blows 17 point lead with 3 minutes to play. Somehow rights the ship in OT.Overtime games, upsets, crazy comebacks......................Great night for chaos.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a spike in refills of blood pressure medication in Iowa City tomorrow...Iowa blows 17 point lead with 3 minutes to play. Somehow rights the ship in OT.![]()
You have no idea what panics people in the DC metro region. When I first moved here, I went shopping after work on Friday, probably 7:30. There was NO bread, NO eggs, NO milk. I had no idea, so I asked an employee whether a delivery had been missed or something. "No, it's the storm." ??? There was a dusting forecast for Saturday.East Lansing is -3 tonight and tomorrow gets down to -12. No excuse for Maryland though.
Okot and Tac seemed quite flustered offensively. Beers had 4 fouls and was basically conceding layups just standing with her hands straight up but SC's bigs kept missing point blank shots inside.SC showed up, but not to play. Only 12 assists? Outrebounded 39 to 54. Beers owned Okot.
MD game got 6500 which is actually pretty good, but the arena is 18k
Georgetown got 3800 which I'm sure they're thrilled about (capacity 4200)
And it's a weeknight in a major metro area.
Wish schools would report tickets scanned for attendance versus tickets distributed. The difference is significant not just for WBB, but for college sports in general. But the schools want the narrative of sell outs, or 10,000 WBB fans etc. Would also be very easy to report scanned ticket counts. No way there were 6500 fans at Maryland game. 6500 tix sold, yes, but if there were 2000 in the stands I'd be surprised.

NO CHEERWINE?At least y'all will be getting all snow. Central NC is under a ice warning. Not worried about losing power as our neighborhood has underground electricity, never lost power during an ice storm. Just the travel conditions are expected to get really bad late Saturday through Monday afternoon.
I'm prepared. Water, chocolate muffins, frozen pizza, and tuna salad. Will have to pick up vanilla ice cream, fried chicken, donuts, and Pepto Bismol by around noon or so Saturday. Restaurants and grocery stores probably will start shutting down about 2pm
