Wow thought for sure Indians would get their first Big 10 win today against Purdue.
Down 12 late.

Did not expect Hoosiers to be this bad - I thought RU Purdue PennSt NW had the bottom 4 locked up.

I suppose IN was due some karmic payback for the FB team

Marquette at Butler on ESPN+. Skylar Forbes, one of Marquette's top players, is out for the game. The announcers did not state the reason.
Very few people in the the stands at this game too.

I didn't expect it either. I do remember during the off season 1 poster (can't remember who, so I can't rub it in) picked Indiana to finish ahead of Washington in the B1G this year. I pointed out that the Hoosiers lost pretty much everybody, while UW was bringing back most of its nucleus.

KanSt has wins over Ole Miss and TexTech, but only 11-9 and getting blowed out by Kansas on FS1.

Kansas State is one of those bettor's worst nightmare type of teams. 🙁 As of 1/25/26 at approximately 1:39pm... I no longer trust them.

Didnt think Vandy would win, but this could get ugly. 14-4 after 3 mins

VERY physical. 7 total fouls after 5 mins.
SC very intense defense.

Look who is in first place in the SEC.
The only team that has yet to play South Carolina, Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt or Ole Miss? Am I right?

hand share GIF

ND loses to Clemson 65-58 in South Bend.

How many bids does the ACC get?
Creme has 9.

ND will make it unless they nose dive. If anything this helps Clemson's chances (who was the 1st team out by Creme).
I think they'll just have a bunch of very low seeds, with only Louisville and probably Duke hosting. Rest of conference in the 7-11 zone.

The ACC is a jumbled mess after the top 2 teams... Gonna be interesting to see which other 2 teams get the double bye in the tournament. Pitt, BC, and SMU will probably be staying home come March.

@Vowelguy You owe Kara Lawson, the Duke team, and Me a apology. You ranked Louisvlle first in the ACC... then had ND and Duke on the same level. I objected then... and I was right. ND is a middling team.

I'll accept a overnight package of a 2 liter bottle of Cheerwine, or any other non-Diet soda.. and it needs to arrive by by 5am. Stupid me, I thought one 12 oz can of Cheerwine would satisfy my soda thirst for 3 days. It was gone by 4pm yesterday, 😓😓😓😓

Matchups matter and Vandy does not have any size. Playing against LSU who also lacks experience in the front court is one thing but SC, Texas and Oklahoma will be a huge problem for them…Shea will need to hit the portal.

the problems early didnt seem to have a lot to do with size tho?
SC was very aggressive defensively and VU could not handle. Also hard to win your opponent shoots 10-17 from 3.

Also, Dawn started a small lineup — Joyce Agot Tessa Taniya and Raven.

9 seems about right. Two possible hosts (Louisville and Duke), two teams in the six to seven seed range (NC State, UNC) and then about seven teams that could claim five more spots (low at-large seeds for P4).

It's hard to completely separate Stanford (Q4 OOC loss, only 0.500 in conference after the Cal loss), ND (several OOC blowout losses, Q3 conference loss), Syracuse (lack of signature OOC win), VT (lack of signature OOC win), and Clemson (several OOC blowout loss and lack of signature OOC win) right now.

Virginia (Q4 OOC loss, lack of signature OOC win) and Miami (lack of signature OOC win, lack of wins overall and under 0.500 in ACC) are the two that can probably be sent to the bad side of the bubble for now.

You mean, "will need to hit the portal, again." I think. Del Rosario transferred to Vanderbilt from LSU. Hasn't had any impact to date, which some on the board suspected would be the case.
