2 seed? i'm thinking maybe 4 seed. sorry but that's 7 losses. at what point do we see them drop out of the top 20? i don't care who they would beat or what ranked teams they lost to - they have basically lost to 3 unranked teams now - UVA, South Carolina, and Vandy. then they lost to ranked teams Baylor, Kentucky, ND and Stanford.

realistically, all joking aside, they probably drop to about 15 at this point. SC just got crushed by Arkansas so bye bye top 25 for them. Vandy will enter the top 25 after this win, but these are teams barely in or just out of the top 25.

Vandy played their hearts out they could have easily gave up after tenn. came back from down 16 to take a 54-52 lead but they didn't. and out scored them the rest of the way 41- 25 .. Vandy wanted this game to make a big statement ....

Vandi put on a layup drill in the first half and hit some 3's in the second half after Tenn came back to take a 1 point lead. Tenn's half court defense was of the toreador variety. If the Vandi guard beat her defender there was a clear lane to the hoop. No help.

I am shocked by how terrible our team is right now. They cannot play cohesive team offense (no surprise there really) and cannot play disciplined defense ( huge surprise there).

If shots don't fall, they all hang their heads and sulk. Their d and board play suffers, and we get blown out. This season is really really sad. I think our board is at a complete loss. I've been a fan of the lady vols for 20 years now, and I've never seen a team as bad as we are right now. It's horribly depressing. Maybe you guys can lay off us? I know...not likely.

just get through this season. the girls are obviously hurting and dealing with real life issues not just basketball. things will get better when the coaching situation gets resolved. back pat and love them!!! they have beaten vandy to death for decades...let's throw them a bone..from the boneyard too

I dont think Tennessee necessarily lost their #2 seed!

Ohio State lost
Green Bay lost
Miami has to go to Duke and Maryland
Duke has Maryland and Miami

Tennessee still has Kentucky....at home and the SEC Tourney.

I feel like the teams ranked 6-12 are all really even.
Conference tourney's will tell much!

It'll get better, tennfanatic. Tennessee is a fine team. Seems to me they're just reeling, have been all season. Once the water finds its level, they'll be fine.

Maybe a good idea to step away from the Boneyard for a little while.

I can't defend any UConn fan going to the Tenn message board, and rubbing it in. OTOH, why would a Tenn. fan come over to the UConn board and read what UConn fans are saying? Like I always say, Don't ask a question if you don't want to hear the answer.

That's very nice of you to say. The last four years have been very tough. Our fans have no idea what to think. It's a very sad situation down here. There will be wholesale changes after this season...book it.

With Davis spurning us (even Though that situation is totally messed up) our future doesnt look great either. Appreciate the good times uconn fans...they can end quickly.
