they use ngongba to clear out the post area for boozer but reed is hard to move. ngongba is not a 3 point threat so he can't draw out reed, they just tell tarris to position on boozer's side and he should be able to bother cam

He score four points in a game we won by four. Had a couple of rebounds, a block. He contributed.

Screw Mashburn, there’s something else here for a story. Did we not recruit his kid hard enough or what? I mean his disrespect is well noted and I’m no longer a fan of his. And he certainly should be more respectful in the way he organizes his apparel on the desk, looks foolish!😂

Whoever is guarding him needs to stay on their feet, loves to ball fake and drive by. I respect he’s playing but the crying Scheyer did post game on the court was laughable. Our guys high ankle sprain is just as impressive for his gritty appearances.
 
The two advantages we have are that our best players are experienced seniors while their best is a Freshman. Also Hurley can coach circles around Scheyer. We’re still going to have to play well to win because Duke is a very good team. We saw what happened last year when Duke had 2 of the best freshman to ever play college bball on the same team. Get them under some game pressure under 5
Mins to go on a big stage and they could get rattled.

It’s rare that I’ve seen Boozer play like a freshman. It’s happened but it’s not often. He’s a very cerebral kid. I do like our coaching advantage, although Pitino has it as well.

If he's feeling good and can contribute ~10-15 mins tomorrow, any chance we see Stewart and get some time guarding Boozer? We utilized Karaban and Stewart mostly against Koa Peat earlier this year. Different players of course, but some similarities.

You're right. But does anyone ever respect what these guys say, or put any stock in it? Id actually say we do the opposite.

Mashburn doesnt watch Uconn. Jet and Chuck and those guys dont watch enough college ball to be truly knowlesgeable. I know y'all hate Goodman but he watches a ton of college ball. That's his only job. And we complain about Fanta and Donnie but they know st johns and uconn 500×s better than the CBS crew.

Ngongba isn’t playing more than 20, and no one else on that roster that can handle him.

Mashburn was good with us before. He isn’t a believer anymore because he was in studio for our Creighton, Marquette and SJU losses. He saw us go 7-4 down the stretch (mostly against unranked teams). When you see that, you struggle thinking that team has any shot to win the national championship.
