Christyn and Liv both nominated today for possible selection to the McDonald's AA game along with almost 700 others.
Big game for Liv!1/12
Olivia Nelson-Ododa with 30 points and 13 rebounds Friday night.
Christyn Williams didn't play for CAC.
Any idea why CWill didn't play?
Hmmmmm.7-hour drive from Little Rock to Houston. ?

Houston & Austin are about as close as UConn will get to Arkansas this year other than Memphis (Jan 24). Memphis is only 2 hours away, but that's a Wednesday afternoon game and hardly the attraction of a weekend topped of with UConn-Texas.I never thought of that. Not a bad guess.

Bret appears to prefer quality to quantity. Both the Baylor and Texas classes are much larger and very good.
I understand the logic. He must think that Liv is really, really good. There's a case for that logic. Think it depends on how big one perceives the gaps are between some of the top players.
McCormick had UConn #1 this year too but he includes transfers in his rankings.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa hit the game-winning free throw Saturday for Winder-Barrow and finished with 29 points.
Liv can dribble the ball pretty well and shows nice form on her midrange shot. The spin move in the 3rd video is sweet!Nelson-Ododa highlights from three games last week. A couple of threes, some long jumpers, and some nice post moves included.

Is Uconn done with it 2018 recruiting?
What is Vegas saying regarding her decision?Seems to be. Just waiting on Ezi Magbegor's decision.
Sluconn is right. There is only 1 more player in 2018 under consideration. It's Ezi Macbegor, who has different options than most Americans. She can stay at home in Australia and play pro ball, or she came come to a U.S. college for an education and to develop her basketball skills. So, her recruitment and timetable are different. How good is she, and is she worth waiting for? Really, really, really good, and absolutely. As noted by another BYer, if she were an American, she would be the #1 ranked recruit.
The article is from 7 weeks ago. We may have known that. As you point out, though, it would preclude summer school in the U.S.She just signed with a local team.
SEABL
Their season kicks off in April and runs through July so she'd miss Summer school if she were to come to the US.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa reached 1,500 points for her career.
Impressive stuff. To drift a bit: If a 17-year-old can use her left hand around the basket, why can't a certain 6-6 22-year-old?Nelson-Ododa highlights from three games last week. A couple of threes, some long jumpers, and some nice post moves included.
