Sounds like he's interested but the mom wants to start cutting teams from the list rather than adding them. Unfortunately, the parent usually wins out in these situations.

There is no way KO has not reached out to Cliff. He's exactly the type of guy we need. And moms can be silly sometimes. Thats all I have to say to that.

Who doesn't need another Uncle Cliffy? ;) This guy will be a major player in his 1st game, on any team. He doesn't take a play off. He brings it every game. He's just so physical & difficult to keep out of the lane. I'd love him on UConn.... Come on Lyle commit... and bring your partner in crime with you!
 
Sounds like a typical UConn story. Team A stops recruiting player B. Player B goes on to the University of Connecticut to win a national title.

You may think it is crazy, but I've heard that DePaul is actually the Dark Horse to land this package deal. I think it is crazy too, but that is the rumor. It would be a major coup for DePaul and the Big East who already has only 3 or 4 less top 100 commits to this point than the ACC and with only 10 schools. I think DePaul very well could land these two.
 
I am so mad that i just watched a highlight video of this kid lol. It just made me get way to pumped envisioning him in a Uconn uniform when the chances of it happening are slim. God damn recruiting

Why is Memphis on the lists for all of these kids, the guy can't coach.
 
Just because we're not in his top six doesn't mean we have no shot at him. We just started recruiting him yesterday, and he was receptive to our calls, so I would expect it to take a little bit of time before he completely eliminated us.
