Bucci has been high on UConn, I'd give him the benefit on the doubt and just call it an oversight, a big one, but an oversight nonetheless.
 
Could this be the first year we wrap up an at-large bid before the HE tournament? I assume we have to be between 8-10 in Pairwise at the end of the regular season.
 
Love the #8 Pairwise ranking, but it means absolutely nothing until the Ivy's have 5-6 games under their belts, they open their seasons this weekend.
 
Agreed, ignore PWR at this point. Schedules remain way too imbalanced and the formula does not give an accurate picture until at least Christmas.

However, UConns 1-0-1 series against Ohio State will help in pairs against B1G schools down the line and they took care of business against Union. Early season OOC losses to conferences you won't play again can put you in a huge hole and they avoided that. A solid PWR foundation to start from as it is, and an OOC slate where only QU and Cornell are tough games.
