FWIW
Way to go Skyler! I'll be there rooting my butt off for you and the rest of the guys who play. Lets get that 10th win and make some UConn football history!!!
FWIW
We had heard that Joe was prepared to play in the bowl until he heard it was Fenway again…and versus Army. Now maybe that wasn’t true. But…if it was true..it sounds like he figured “been there…done that” and he had already proven himself. He probably figured most players would opt out….they didn’t. Bell mentioned that when he talked to Joe he has already made up his mind and had moved on. It didn’t sound like he took his time and waited to see how it shook out. It’s not rash. He’s taking advice from his agent who has represented hundreds of professional football players.
Joe’s leadership and calm under presser are unassailable.
Lacks the ability to get drafted? Have you seen this year’s QB class?
If Tim Boyle can hang around as long as he has then Joe can too.
So your example that proves Joe can get drafted is Boyle….who was undrafted. It’s not rash. He’s taking advice from his agent who has represented hundreds of professional football players.

Makes total sense,
He was here for four years, hurt for two and graduated. Can't really expect more than that nowadays. He is going to play a year at a P4 school probably for more money and if he does well, improve his pro prospects.Murawski is most disappointing in my book. He’s a frigging legacy kid.
This can't be true because Zoo told us Nick isn't even with the program anymore.
I don't know what you are talking about. You said Nick wasn't with the program anymore. Someone said he could start and I basically said that was not possible based on your say-so. I should stop taking you at face value? You trust the guy with 300 followers over the other place? Interesting. You olds need to start checking your sources.

Not sure what Ms. Evers meant by 1-2 more years. Son Nick reposted
The difference between Fagnano and Boyle is that Boyle had an NFL arm from the day he arrived at UConn. Not sure Fagnano has that arm strength.Well he's clearly better than Boyle and I've seen Fagnano projected in the 5th round. Seriously, get over it. It's a dumb bowl game against Army. He did his duty and then some.
I am glad Skyler and Cam and the entire defense are playing in the “dumb bowl game against Army”.Well he's clearly better than Boyle and I've seen Fagnano projected in the 5th round. Seriously, get over it. It's a dumb bowl game against Army. He did his duty and then some.
He's counting on showing out in a week's worth of practice and interviews/tape break downs with NFL coaches and scouts. The games are least-impactful thing he'll do for those three weeks. He is counting on all star games.
The same people/person who stated that the location was keeping guys from playing, also said that Bell was also out as would be many members of the team all because of the location. As of right now it appears to be 3 key players (QB & 2 OL), with most of the defensive starters in the portal still playing as well as Bell, Edwards and the rest of the offense. I think the more likely scenario was he wasn't likely to play and it became definite as the coaching change happened. We had heard that Joe was prepared to play in the bowl until he heard it was Fenway again…and versus Army. That’s a fair comment…most of the information that we have gotten is trash. He's counting on showing out in a week's worth of practice and interviews/tape break downs with NFL coaches and scouts. The games are least-impactful thing he'll do for those three weeks.

One of the player interviews had a comment about McDonald being injured. Didn’t say he couldn’t play but he alluded to his injury.I don't understand. Who is the QB of the team? Can McDonald play?
Schrodinger's QB.Very confused by the Evers situation. Is he gone from the team?
Didn't I see somewhere on the BY today that his Mom posted he's here for 2 more years (Master's?) Thought Nan posted that, and figured he would be playing.Very confused by the Evers situation. Is he gone from the team?
Yes, comparable. Well taken!Schrodinger's QB.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation All-American team is chosen by the head coaches and sports information directors from all the FBS schools. They added a fan voting component last year? but I’m not sure how it’s weighted in comparison to the HC/SID votes.apropos of nothing was wondering why the Walter Camp people couldn't go along with the rest of the crowd and put Skyler on their first All-Amer team. Know their HQ is in New Haven but no idea if their voters/team deciders are mostly in CT or scattered throughout the land.
