UConn Freshmen/Commits: C. Collier, Coombs, AEH, Gordon, Walker

I've noticed that......I have no idea if that she has really gone through that process or if it is just for fun.....

I've seen a handful of Twitter handles w/ the "TM". Doesn't mean anything.

Man, AEH has a nice looking stroke. How the heck is Geno going to find time for all these kids next year? In some ways, his task next year is tougher than being short handed this year.
He did it for the 2012/2013 team. He had some very good players on the bench, including Tuck and Jefferson

That team had 11 players though, one of which was Heather Buck who basically didn't play. Next year's team has 14 players. And Tuck/Jefferson still averaged a combined 32 minutes a game which is not bad.

In some years, we have played subs for the last 10-15 minutes of a game, and they have been scoring challenged. I don't see that next year, maybe not even if we play only the freshmen. Megan can score 10+ in a quarter easily. Andi adds shooting from distance. Lexi has a sweet stroke. Mikayla is an ankle breaker.

Not our problem. It's Geno's, if it is a problem. That's why he's paid the big bucks. I'm not gonna have one moment of worry about it. I'd advise some of you to do the same.

BTW: Megan and her parents were courtside at the Maryland game.
Blake , Thanks.............Good for Megan to see the kinds of games she will be playing in and the crowds she will be playing in front of next year. I just hope she texts her other incoming classmates how exciting it was.

Better yet, undeclared ballers.

They do it quite often in Illinois. They play the semi-finals and finals of the state tournament on the same day.
Always thought that was crazy, although it did make it easier to see.

LD Bell won a tough one against #2 in the state Trinity on Tuesday (1/3).

Lexi Gordon scored 14 points; her sister Myra led the way with 17.

Lexi is on the right #34, Myra on the left #15
Baylor keeps taking L to UCONN even on the prep level.

MDoggie - tellin ya... there have been a bunch of pics their dad has sent me of the two of them together, etc and I had to ask him which was which.

1/3

Megan Walker scored 25 points in less than 3 quarters Tuesday.

Mikayla Coombs had 9 points and 7 assists.

Meg's team won by 91-31. The opposition is now 6-2, so apparently they were a decent local team, but Monacan won easily. The cumulative scores by quarter: 24-8; 51-17; 77-24; 91-31. The box score link doesn't work properly, so I can't find shooting stats.

I hope to go to Meg's game on Thursday.

The jersey number is the only way I can tell. Myra is tall for her age.
